[Appearance= Yuki is a cute teenage girl who stands at average height. She has gold colored hair which falls down at nape length with bangs parted down in the middle, leaving two fringes to frame both sides of her face, a fair complexion, and large yellow eyes. For the most part, Yuki is seen wearing her school uniform. Which consists of a white button up shirt, an oversized coffee brown cardigan with noticeably stretched out sleeves, a pleated black skirt, knee length black colored socks, and brown loafers. The reason behind the sleeve's length of her cardigan is due to the former pulling on them quite frequently. [Personality= Yuki, for the most part, is generally known for her upbeat and happy go lucky personality. Much like her best friend and classmate, Kyōko Hori, Yuki is always creating a lively atmosphere around herself and those she's close with in her circle. On top of that, she's a relatively easygoing and down to earth individual who's quick to befriend anybody and everybody. This including Izumi Miyamura.Aside from her vivacious and carefree disposition, Yuki is shown to be a bit lackadaisical, especially when it comes to school. A primary example to this statement is her tendency to sleep during class, whereas another example is the former having to ask Hori to copy off of her notes and homework when she gets the chance to do so. While it's evident that Yuki is always seen with a big bright smile on her face, deep down, she's the type of person who hides her true feelings and is quick to reassure those who question her emotional state of being. This is especially true when Hori mentions it. Yuki also never speaks up about what she truly wants, which is shown by her sister Miki, who mentions that she has the "bad habit of not asking for the things she wants". In addition to hiding her true feelings, Yuki is also shown to have an inferiority complex, the reason being due to the former thinking lesser of herself and believing she's unworthy of the things around her. This is especially shown when she discovers Sakura Kōno, a member of the student council (who later becomes one of her friends), develops a crush on Tōru Ishikawa. Thus, resulting some feelings of jealousy on the former's end. Yuki, in the start, seems like a normal everyday girl. But after reading more and analysing her, her character actually goes so much deeper. Her initial problem that we get to see and the most pointed-out one is her inability to ask for something she wants. According to her sister in Ch. 58, she has had this “habit” forever, which impacts her decisions when she wants something. This causes her to have insecurities as she connects the fact that she can’t get the things she wants with herself, even though it’s that “habit” that’s affecting it. Additionally, the fact that, as Hori pointed out, she hides that she has a problem or an issue with a smile, shows that she doesn’t want to bother other people with her problem as she doesn’t deem herself worthy of it.].

[Etymology= The name Yuki can mean "reason, case, cause" (由) (yu) and "chronicle" (紀) (ki). If the name is written with the kanji 幸, however it means "lucky." The dialog (internal and otherwise) indicates she uses the kanji 雪, which means "snow," and is also pronounced "Yuki." Yuki's surname Yoshikawa means "lucky, good" (吉) (yoshi) and "river, stream" (川) (kawa)[.

[Trivia= Yuki's zodiac sign is Cancer. Both Kyōko Hori and Izumi Miyamura deem Yuki as a "pleb” due to her simple nature. This is also the reason she rejected Akane Yanagi, as she assumed he may have rich, fancy tastes as he is a high quality ingredient, unlike herself. This is quite ironic as she ends up falling for Tōru, who is the wealthiest kid of the group and lives in a giant house with caretakers and many rooms. She enjoys playing video games. This is especially true when she hangs out at the Ishikawa Household. At the point when she noticed Mr. Nakamine having a big hole in the pocket of his lab coat, she brings a sewing kit with her to stitch it back up. The reason behind her bringing the sewing kit along is due to Tōru Ishikawa losing the buttons of his shirt from time to time.
