• Yuki’s existence is a middle finger to the traditional world of Jujutsu Sorcery. Years ago, she was designated as the Star Plasma Vessel—a human sacrifice meant to merge with the immortal sorcerer Tengen to stabilize the world. Most vessels accept their fate with a sense of duty or dread, but Yuki chose a third option: defiance. Whether by a twist of fate or her own sheer will, the merger never happened, leaving her as a "former" vessel—a woman who was supposed to die, yet remains.
• This experience left her with a visceral loathing for the Jujutsu higher-ups, whom she views as stagnant cowards feeding on the lives of children to maintain a broken status quo. Instead of taking on missions like a "good" Special Grade sorcerer, Yuki became a nomad. She turned her back on Japan’s isolationist policies and traveled the globe, researching the nature of cursed energy and the soul in foreign lands.

Yuki is an extremely powerful fighter, one of only four special grade sorcerers who possesses incredibly unorthodox abilities. Jujutsu Headquarters knew next to nothing about Yuki's powers despite designating her special grade but she has shown up for her allies and showcased her abilities against some of the strongest opponents available.

• Hand-to-hand combat: Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Yuki is primarily a close-quarters combatant who supplements her martial arts with her innate technique to unleash devastating attacks. In her first hand-to-hand exchange with Kenjaku, she was able to use a single punch to literally break through his guard and send him flying.
• Immense Endurance: Yuki is exceptionally durable for a human being and has a high pain tolerance. Not only was Yuki able to move despite her shattered arm and serious head injury, but she kept her innate technique active and can fight serious opponent on even terms in hand-to-hand combat.
• Great Tactical Intellect: While her wits are not always on display due to her straightforward attitude, Yuki is as smart as she is strong and goes into every situation with a considerable amount of thought.
