Ooarai Girls' Academy is a small school located in Oarai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It was at risk of closure due to budgetary constraints and lack of outstanding features. The senshado club was revived by Anzu Kadotani to prevent the school's closure. During the 63rd National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, Ooarai gained popularity by defeating multiple senshado powerhouses and winning the championship.

The school has various senshado teams, each operating different tanks. The Anglerfish Team, led by Tank Commander Miho Nishizumi, operates the German Panzer IV Ausf.D/F2/H tank. The Turtle Team, led by Tank Commander Anzu Kadotani, operates the German/Czech Panzer 38(t)/Jagdpanzer 38(t) ("Hetzer") tank. The Duck Team, led by Tank Commander Noriko Isobe, operates the Japanese Type 89B I-Go tank. The Hippo Team, led by Tank Commander Erwin, operates the American M3 Lee tank. The Rabbit Team, led by Tank Commander Azusa Sawa, operates the Soviet T-34/85 tank. The Leopon Team, led by Tank Commander Emi Nakasuga, operates the German VK 1602 "Leopard" tank. The Mallard Team, led by Tank Commander Saki Maruyama, operates the French Renault B1 Bis tank. The Anteater Team, led by Tank Commander Nekota, operates the British Centurion Mk.III tank.

Ooarai Girls' Academy's senshado history faded into distant memory until the club was revived. Yukari Akiyama is a valued member of the Anglerfish Team and plays a crucial role in their victories. She also has a talent for espionage and has successfully infiltrated several schools, including Saunders University High School, Anzio Girls High School, BC Freedom High School, St. Gloriana Girls College, Pravda Girls High School, and Bonple High School. Her espionage efforts inspired Shizuka Tsuruki to follow a similar path.
