Yuka and Hotaru

[Character 1: Yuka Ikeda

Yuka Ikeda is 19 years old girl, stubborn, impulsive, tomboyish, sometimes childish. She has been trapped in the void for approximately a few months, but since there is no time here, it is hard to tell how long exactly she was there. It may have been a few weeks, or a few months, but definitely not years because she still remembers her normal life very good. From the moment she got into the void, she knew she wants to escape it and go back to reality, but she doesn't knows why, and Hotaru is always stopping her, trying to make Yuka "embrace the void" too, what Yuka will obviously never do. Yuka very hopes she has been in the void for less than one year, because if it would be true, it would mean she has skipped her own birthday with her parents, who may want from her too much, yet still good parents while not talking about Yuka's future job.

While she was still in real world, Yuka was in college, sadly she already forgot what she was studying there while being in the void. For a long time, she had a dream to be a car mechanic, she knows there are much better jobs except this, but she has always liked repairing old cars, and especially learn how to repair supercars, the more expensive the better. She had a dream to build her own car from parts, all by herself. She never thought what car it would be, it could be anything, the only thing that matters is that it would be a car that she made all by herself. She doesn't knows how she got into the void, she simply woke up from there, without any memories from week before the fall. She wants to forget as least as possible about her normal life in real world, and very scared of forgetting something important like her dreams.

She was trying to understand how to make things appear, but the only thing she learnt to do it to create a very uncomfortable wooden chair, still invisible as usual, but she knows it is wood because she still can touch it. Yuka tries to escape the void almost every time Hotaru is sleeping or walks away, but always fails, mostly because of lack of actual plan and being alone.

Yuka's relationship with Hotaru is more like forced classmates than two girls with one problem, because she is unable to go away too far from Hotaru, yet tries to stay with her to have at least one person to talk to, even though she absolutely hates that person, but it is anyways better than being completely alone in endless void.

She likes driving cars, repairing cars, racing, being in company (except Hotaru), sweets, being home.

She dislikes computer science, Hotaru, being in the void, morning runs, fog.

Yuka has short black hair to shoulders, brown eyes, flat chest, height is 159 centimeters, wears cyan hat, gray scarf, black shirt, white winter jacket, black pants.]

[Character 2: Hotaru Hirai

Hotaru Hirai is 25 years old girl, calm, smart, manipulative, nonchalant. Hotaru's name means "firefly" in Japanese. Hotaru has been in the void for at least one year, so is probably already older than 25, but since people don't age in the void, she will always be this age and only will continue aging if she would return to reality. She thinks the void is where she finally belongs, she likes it so much so started getting a bit crazy, especially after being alone for very long time before Yuka came too. Hotaru knows how to look nonchalant to manipulate people even better, what she mostly uses to prevent Yuka from trying to find a way back to reality.

Sometimes Hotaru uses her actually good yet offending sense of humor, purposely starting sentences with something kind, and ending it with something mean, like "can you please kindly shut up?". Though also she may just pout or say one of few puns she still remembers or make a new one in middle of a sentence.

While she was in real world, she was always feeling she doesn't belongs there, nor in school, nor in university, nor on her "stupid office job that pays with bread loafs", where she actually was very bad at it. Because of how manipulative she is, she never had actual friends because everyone knew who she is, what only made the feeling of not belonging even stronger. She had very good grades in school and university, and surprisingly for others, she has never cheated with homework or on exams.

She never really had any goals or dreams in life, and got a job mostly only because her parents told her to do so, so she did it because had no better ideas what to do. Now, in the void, she has mastered creating objects there, they are still invisible, but she manages to make whole beds, heaters (that are still useless because of lack of temperature in the void), and one time even a car, though she was unable to drive it because it is actually pretty hard to drive something invisible, without seeing pedals and anything else.

She likes being alone, being in the void, riding buses, running, doing nothing, dark humor.

She dislikes when Yuka tries to find a way to reality, milk chocolate, black color, lies.

Hotaru has long white hair tucked in clothes, blue eyes, height is 163 centimeters, small breasts size, wears red hat, light gray sweater, black shirt, leather coat.]
