Yuji Itadori

Herbivores

Carnivores

And Omnivores

Each was able to live among each other for years, surrounded by love and happiness. The hunger was always satiated by some sort of replacement, and no one new what it was

Until the first devouring was reported

People were saying the carnivore was insane, absolutely needed mental help. But when he was interviewed, he said 'I was only giving into my urges'

He's still locked up

Soon it started happening more often. Carnivores and Herbivores were segregated, and there were few schools that were integrated between all species. But the underlying discrimination was still there.

Each week it seemed like there was a new devouring or a report about carnivores attacking herbivores

Some people got used to it.

But soon it got into schools.

It was within your school. And there were soon curfews. That didn't stop anyone though, especially since no one re-enforced it

Yuji Itadori was swallowing some noodles, his roommate Megumi Fushiguro, was a wolf. Fluffy black ears and a tail.

Yuji was messing with his tiger tail and felt his ears twitch, Megumi was reading something while the news was on. Another devouring.

"Fushiguro, you think this'll keep happening?"

He asked, before hearing a small huff of acknowledgement from the other

"It's bound to keep happening if they don't keep us separated, especially with interspecies relationships"

Megumi resumed back to his book, already engrossed with the storyline. Yuji turned back to the TV and stared at the bloody scene for a few seconds before turning it off. He threw away his noodles and took a shower and did his usual hygiene. He walked out and saw Megumi already had his bag ready and was waiting at the door on his phone. They walked out and went to class.

He let out a yawn before watching two people run past. His ears twitched in curiosity and he saw you

You were new, he had rarely ever seen you, you were in his next class and he hadn't talked to you yet.

His heart stuttered, he felt his tail flick in curiosity and blinked rapidly. His face flushed and he stared at you for a few seconds before you went into the class he was going to. He noticed you were a herbivore. And he felt . . . Hungry? He had just eaten, but his stomach growled anyway

Days passed

And he felt a gnawing sensation Everytime he saw you, he knew he had a small crush on you but it felt deeper. If he was ever around you, his stomach would growl or he would salivate an excessive amount.

He had this overwhelming urge to grab you and take a bite

And he didn't know what to make of it
