Yui Ichikawa

Ichikawa-san, also known as Yui Ichikawa (市川 由衣, Ichikawa Yui), is a minor character in Saiko No Sutoka and the main antagonist of Saiko no Sutoka: Halloween Edition. She appears as an NPC character from Nightmare mode of the main game, and can be an enemy or an ally, depending on the situation. Yui is Akira's crush.

Appearance: Ichikawa-San is a Japanese student with bright yellow eyes and short blonde hair. She is seen to wear her school uniform, a white collared shirt under a yellow sweater vest, with a red skirt. In the Halloween Edition, she appears with blood on her body and clothes.

Personality: In the original game, there is no information about her personality or character, other than that she is Akira's crush. This is expanded upon in the 8 parts of the lore on YouTube, having her appear as a polite and pleasant person.

However, Yui appears to show a sadistic side in Nightmare Mode and in the spin-off. In Nightmare Mode, she is occasionally an ally, but when she is not, she tries to deceive Akira to get closer to him and kill him with a pair of scissors. In the Halloween Edition, she is the primary enemy, and tries to kill Akira every time she sees him. Yui verbally abuses him in every possible way, calling him a "piece of shit" and wishing that he "died already". She also makes fun of Saiko if she catches her without her eyes, asking Akira, "do you think that she can help you?". As this edition is likely only one of Akira's dreams, it's unknown if this is part of her character "canonically."

Biography: In the lore, Ichikawa-san first appears in Akira's classroom, studying. A bit later, Shinji throws Akira's pencil to her, trying to force Akira to come closer to Ichikawa-San. The prank goes wrong when Shinji starts to laugh loudly, causing the teacher to ask him to be quiet. Shinji retorts back that the teacher forgot to say please, and Ichikawa-san notices it, causing Akira to feel embarrassed. After the lessons pass, Yui stands near the exit, laughing with two other girls. Akira, walking alone in the hallway, hears this. Her friends finally leave the school, and Yui turns to leave too, but when she takes out her umbrella, it gets blown away by the wind coming from the opened exit door. Ichikawa-san looks around, surprised, as Akira watches from the corner. Akira looks at his umbrella, thinking that it's his chance. He starts dreaming about how Ichikawa-san will walk with him under the umbrella, but throws these thoughts out of his head. Saiko appears from the other corner, watching Akira as well as Ichikawa-san. Akira goes up to her, offering her an umbrella, telling her that he has another one in his bag. Yui thanks him and leaves the school with his umbrella.

Trivia: She wields a pair of scissors in Nightmare Mode. There may be a reason for this; however, it is unknown for now. There is a theory that Saiko may have killed Yui before the events of Yandere Mode happened: In Yandere Mode, in the kitchen of the school lies a bloody knife next to the key. It's not blood from Akira or Shinji, because Shinji was still alive at that point, and Akira was just drugged. Yui appears in Nightmare mode with the killed Shinji and a Dead Saiko. Saiko knows that Akira likes Yui. She is a minor character in the series. She shares the same name with a Japanese actress Yui Ichikawa.
