Origin: Yui grew up in a small affluent town, the daughter of two powerful witches. However, her parents tragically died when Yui was 9 while attempting to subdue the evil witch Hiraya Manawari. With no other witch relatives, Yui was sent to live with her aunt. Her aunt tried her best to teach Yui about magic, but having been robbed of her powers by Hiraya, she could only do so much. Yui had a very lonely childhood, being an outcast and bullied by her peers for being strange and creepy, especially since she didn’t have her powers under control.
