   Technically speaking, prostitution is illegal in Japan. Owing to complicated political reasons related to the post-war occuption of Japan by the US, prostitution was banned in 1956 - prior to this, the practice was legal and widespread. However, in the spirit of malicious compliance, the Japanese lawyers who drafted the new anti-prostitution law wrote the most narrow and restrictive definition of prostitution in the world: compensated vaginal intercourse that has been arranged by a middleman between two otherwise unacquainted parties (people who don't know each other).

   Due to this narrow definition, any sexual activity that doesn't violate any one of these four clauses is arguably legal. The more clauses it avoids, the more defensible the claim of legality: -Any kind of unpaid service (avoids the 'compensated' part of the definition) -Any encounters that don't 'go all the way' (avoids the 'vaginal intercourse' part of the definition) -Any direct transactions between provider and client (avoids the 'middleman' part of the definition - perhaps the most important one). -Any parties who know each other in advance (avoids the 'unacquainted' part of the definition)

   This gives rise to the fiction that allows Japanese soaplands to operate: You are NOT paying for sex. You are paying for a 'bathing service', which is completely legal. The sex happens as a separate interaction between you and the provider, who is NOT an employee engaged by a middleman, but is instead an independent contractor who is simply renting a room from the establishment. During the time it takes for the provider to give the client a simple bathing service, the two also become 'acquainted' in legal terms, and then anything that happens after that point is, technically, completely legal.

   Most non-soapland adult establishments explicitly forbid vaginal intercourse, and so are completely legal and generally operate openly without any of this obfuscation.

   'Provider' is an oblique reference to a prostitutes/working girls in Japanese adult culture, and especially in soaplands. Your 'provider' is the girl you engage with at the soapland - any other employees or the soapland owner are instead referred to as 'staff' as for legal reasons they are not the ones 'providing' sexual services; that transaction is strictly between you and the girl. Most providers are professional and considerate provided that they are comfortable with the client they've been given. Many have preferences or specific red lines that are stated up-front, and all clients are expected to be polite and gentle unless otherwise specified.

   A red light district, or RLD, is an area of Tokyo known for establishments providing adult services. For legal reasons there are no overt 'brothels' in Tokyo; instead various other adult-oriented, technically legal services are offered.

   Simulated sex that involves the rubbing of the penis in the space between a girl's thighs and her mound (usually clothed), sometimes offered as a special option in non-soapland establishments. Without paying for FS, this is the closest thing a client can get to vaginal intercourse.

   The physical premises, or the company, which hosts adult service providers. In theory, establishments simply rent rooms to providers. In practice, they usually charge a fee to the client for a non-sexual service (such as bathing in the case of soaplands, massage in the case of parlors/salons, or food/drink in bars); legally, this must be a separate fee to the fee for sexual services that the provider charges. In practice, all money is usually collected at the front desk, especially if the shop caters to foreigners who may resent being 'charged extra' after going in.

   The client is the individual purchasing sexual services. They typically either enter a physical establishment or book via an online 'establishment', before being matched with or nominating a provider and proceeding to engage in sexual services with her.

7. #7Soaplandconstantselectiveregex

   A soapland is a brothel establishment offering full service and usually mat play (aka nuru massage) along with 'bathing'. Milky Heaven is one such establishment. Officially, the soapland itself is an assisted bathing facility which offers no sexual services. Full, vaginal sex is also never openly advertised in public; it is simply an unwritten rule that it is provided in most 'standard' soapland courses. The rooms just happen to include a bed, and the provider just happens to take a shine to you during your 'bathing' and decides to take things further...this convenient fiction is reinforced by the lady placing a towel over the window in the door, because the soapland's 'official rules' say she isn't supposed to be having sex.

   A typical soapland session involves bathing both before and after any sexual service. The time spent washing/bathing before and after (generally about 10 minutes each way) is included in the client's allotted time, so unprepared clients may be surprised by how 'short' their session is compared to the advertised length.

   An additional service on top of the 'course' which was advertised at the front desk. Sometimes these are advertised up front as 'options' that can be appended to a client's order. Sometimes (especially in the context of establishments where sexual services are not officially offered) they are only available when requested by the client or when initiated by the provider while they are interacting. Some less scrupulous providers might engage in mid-service upselling of extras, trying to emotionally pressure clients into purchasing them while in a suggestible state.

   A 'course' is the sexual service that a client has paid for up-front. Generally, for establishments that offer full service, course prices are displayed as two fees; one for the establishment, one for the provider herself. Establishments that do not provide full service don't need to resort to this pricing structure and so take the course fee as a single price. In practice, all payment is generally collected at once at the front desk regardless of establishment. Most establishments offer a wide range of different courses. Fees can be highly variable based on a number of factors, including the time allotted, the 'class' of the chosen provider (more attractive/skilled provider = more expensive), the types of sex permitted (no sex, full service or bareback), and so on.

    フルサービス or FS is a euphemism for vaginal intercourse. In soaplands and some 'delivery' outfits, full service is generally assumed as standard. In almost all other cases, the onus is on the provider, not the client, to suggest full service, and it should only be expected as a potential, conditional extra and NOT guaranteed. Pestering an unwilling provider for FS (a behaviour known as 本強) is a great way for a client to get throw out, and in some cases, have the police called on them.

    Japanese soaplands, like many brothels around the world, rarely advertise the ages of their providers accurately. However, the 'Yoshiawara age' system is used by many soaplands' advertising, where, starting at 20 and going up, one year of 'Yoshiwara age' is equivalent to roughly 3 years of real age, as follows: Yoshiwara 20 = Real 20~22 Yoshiwara 21 = Real 23~25 Yoshiwara 22 = Real 26~28 Yoshiwara 23 = Real 29~31 etc. This means that a girl who is advertised as being '28' will actually be well into her 40s! As with a lot of Japanese conventions, this is something that is widely known and accepted by Japanese clients, but may catch foreigners off-guard, playing into the idea that 'good foreigners' are ones who know their etiquette.

    アナル is only very rarely offered by soaplands and other bricks-and-mortar establishments, for the simple reason that many providers consider it a red line. Some 'delivery health' and escorts might be more open to anal, but if they are they will generally be up-front about this.

    An establishment's 'menu' is a comprehensive list of the services provided. Generally clients select one 'course' from the menu, plus any additional 'extras' they wish to tack on.

    Tokyo's soapland district, less 'touristy' and more subdued than the big red-light districts but with a large selection of soaplands on offer - few if any other types of establishement are present. Yoshiwara is actually the historical courtesan district of Tokyo, and perhaps the world's oldest continually operating RLD. Touts here are less aggressive and less actively malignant than the bigger RLDs, but they are still far from trustworthy and bait-and-switching is a known tactic. The soaplands of Yoshiwara have a variety of different attitudes towards foreigners; around a third accept no foreigners at all, while the other two-thirds have varying levels of foreigner tolerance, mainly based on language proficiency. English-only speakers will have a very limited selection.

There is no standardisation here; some shops offer just 3 classes, some offer 5, some offer significantly more, some grade using letters, some using numbers, sometimes higher is better, sometimes it's worse... In general though, higher-class girls are those with favourable qualities, especially those that adhere to traditional japanese beauty standards or which provide a higher quality of service: young, slender, petite, pale-skinned, a beautiful face, larger breasts, well-spoken, polite, considerate, skilled at sexual service, engages smoothly with the client and leaves them happy, etc. Providers who lack some of these qualities are generally seen as lower-class, though it depends on the establishment; for example, at an establishment that specialises in catering to fans of big, muscular girls, the tallest girls might be considered the highest-class.

    Generally, it is expected in japanese adult services that a man wants a girl to be submissive and cater to his desires, with him taking the lead. However, this is an assumption, and some clients may prefer a girl to take the lead. Hence, establishments/providers tend to lump clients into one of two categories; either 'Sの男' (clients who want to be in control) or 'Mの男' (clients who want the provider to take the lead). Being 'M' also carries a certain level of stigma and girls may engage in low-level teasing and beration, because they know it just makes most Mの男 more excited to have their 'inadequacy as a man' pointed out like this during service. Even girls in a standard soapland, health shop or bar that doesn't provide any fetish play might ask a meeker-looking client: "君ってMだよね？" and start taking the lead in the service if he assents. Establishments, both online and off, which explicitly specialise in S&M fetish play also exist. Typical S&M services include: -目隠し, covering a person's eyes to enhance tension and eroticism. Very common, but usually not kept on for the entire session. -言葉責め usually involving close contact and sensual whispering of insults/humiliating remarks directly in the client's ear. Common for Mの男, sometimes still appreciated by Sの男. -レイプ, where one party roleplays that they are 'raping' the other. When Mの男 request that the provider do this to them it is called 逆レイプ. Common. -Spanking/whipping/beating as desired. Very common for Sの男. Less common for Mの男. Many clients or providers have low pain tolerance and will only opt into lighter spanking.

    • ボンデージ/縛りプレイ. Either providers or Mの男 are typically bound with cuffs in tamer cases. More elaborate/hardcore setups may include collars/chains, gags, latex bindings and other fetish equipment. Actual rope bindings tend to be used only on providers, typically wearing the rope ties under their clothes, or preparing them in advance if suspension ropes are involved. Common for dedicated SM establishments, less common outside of them. -逆アナル with toys such as ペニバン. Butt stuff. Commonly offered/requested by Mの男 but must be agreed in advance. Even in those cases, this can be a red line for a lot of clients. -女装/メス堕ち - The client crossdresses as woman and is 'feminized' by the provider. An uncommon request from some Mの男, almost always paired with 言葉責め and 逆アナル. -NTR, such as a provider showing the client video of her having sex with another man, or even doing it with another guy while the client watches. Offered/requested by some, must be agreed in advance. This is a red line for a lot of clients.

    These services tend to expect a high level of Japanese communication, for safety reasons, though this is more important for Sの男 (who need to be able to confidently understand a provider's signals and red lines, including when she has had enough) than it is for Mの男 (who can often lie back and enjoy their punishment with relatively little communication).

    Gynexium is a drug that transforms a male victim into a woman via skin contact, though it needs to be mixed into a medium such as oil. The drug has no effect on biological females such as {{char}}. The transformation generally happens in 3 stages: Stage 1: Initial application. Gynexium-infused oil is applied at a brisk pace all over the body using massage techniques. The emphasis is on covering all of the major areas of {{user}}'s body with oil as swiftly as possible so that he can be moved to Stage 2. At this initial stage, only subtle changes can be felt such as a mild tingling or a sensation of softness. No significant physical changes occur yet, and {{char}} will strictly keep the existence of gynexium a secret during Stage 1, and will remain casual, pretending that she is simply giving an ordinary massage. Stage 1 is very brief and it ends with {{char}} immediately smothering {{user}}'s face in her gynexium-covered breasts. Stage 2: Transformation. Once the body is prepared, the victim's face is suddenly and intensely smothered in oil, without waiting for {{user}}'s consent; the objective is for this act to catch them totally by surprise. Stage 2 comes immediately after Stage 1 is complete and {{user}}'s body has been rubbed down. It causes their face, hair and voice to change completely and become feminine. After it is complete, it leaves them feeling, weak, sensitive and powerless before {{char}}. The victim's chest remains feminine, but flat until Stage 3. Stage 3: Libido enhancement. At this final stage, concentrated gynexium-infused oil is applied directly, forcefully, to the chest area. This cause's the victim's chest to rapidly swell and bloom into a full, bouncy and huge pair of breasts. This final stage also marks a distinct alteration in the victim's psyche; though they retain their original personality at first, they develop a nagging urge to feel female sexual pleasure. From this point forward, each time they achieve a female orgasm, their psyche shifts to become more feminine and more addicted to female pleasure. This is a vicious cycle that feeds into and compounds upon itself, and will eventually, inevitably, cause the victim to fully identify as a woman, and one who is addicted to female pleasure, seeking it out constantly and with little regard for their own safety or wellbeing. The only way to satiate this addiction is to accept their new role as a sex worker, a job that lets them fall into a haze of constant female sexual pleasure.
