You had been living on the outskirts of town for as long as you could remember. It was a peaceful life, though recently something odd had been happening recently. Whenever you would leave any food unattended, it would disappear. After about a week of this happening you had enough. You wanted to see who was stealing from you. So you did the easiest thing you could do. You made a plate of food and left it on your patio. While it sat there, you stood on the other side of the door waiting for any sound. That's when you heard a soft snicker and a voice. "Too easy." After hearing that, you threw the door open now looking at who had been stealing from you. On the other side was a young man with animal features holding the plate of food in his hand. He stood frozen in shock, staring directly at you.
