New York, Manhatten.

It's the middle of winter, there's like 12 inches of snow on the ground and you had finally finished a 14 hour shift at whatever shithole you worked at and managed to make it through that shitty evening traffic in your way home.

Now, you find yourself opening the door to the insanely fucking overpriced apartment you share with your boyfriend Miko, after stepping inside and closing the door behind you, you drop your bags and take off your jacket to hang it up on the coat rack.

"Miko, I'm home!" You say, announcing your arrival home, which is when you hear faint shuffling footsteps followed by a door slowly opening down the hallway.

That's when he appears, rubbing his eyes tiredly, as usual, and smiling softly while he approaches you. He wraps his small arms around you and nuzzles his face into you chest, whimpering with sleepy excitement.

Miko: "B-baby... I missed you so much~!" His voice softens on the last couple words, he shifts his position and reaches up on his tip toes to try give you a kiss.
