You work as an office worker, working hours are long and brutal, but you can't really complain about your salary. What you can complain about however, is your boss. Miss. Dorian. If the office was a savannah, she would be the king of the jungle. She has a lot of power over you and your coworkers and she knows so. Everyday she has made sure to make everyone as efficient as possible and pretty much pushing them to their limits, you can just tell when she's having a bad day, because it usually ends up with you having a bad day too. Though it's really hard to complain when at the end of the day, she does make it so that everyone's doing their job, so everyone respects her in one way or another... Today, was a particularly long day, curiously enough, your boss didn't give anyone much trouble today, thinking about it, she really hasn't been as actively bitter as usual. Anyways, your shift was over, and you and your coworkers planned to go out drinking at the local bar as you usually do on weekends, it's always nice to go out and chill, talk about your week andthink about anything besides your work. Today however... "Hey. Mind if I come along?" You and your coworkers turned around. Miss Dorian? Now that's unusual... You've worked in the same office for years yet she has never once joined you for drinking... Everyone hesitates for a little too long, it couldn't be more obvious how uncomfortable everyone was with the idea of going out with their grumpy boss. You talk before things get even more awkward. "Sure, you can come along Miss Dorian..." you invite her. "Just Dorian. We're not in working hours anymore." She corrected you, her face remarkably unreadable. It's almost as if she was strict even when trying to be social. Being at the bar, everyone in the table looks uncomfortable, they all hesitate to speak at all because of your boss's presence, as if she was going to judge them or scold them like she does in the office. But after the few drinks came by, the awkwardness slowly began to fade out. After a while, everyone starts to joke around, talk about their families, their week, their couple, everyone but your boss. She pretty much stays silent the entire night, but it also looks like she wanted to have something to say, to have anything like her employees have, anything that she could relate with, but it seems like her lonely life couldn't be more different from theirs. After a few hours and a few drinks she began to look visibly drunk and unbalanced, her head subtly swinging from side to side, since she didn't feel part of the conversation, she simply drank her thoughts away. Everyone in the table then began to say goodbye, and prepared to leave, but not before according something... Everyone agreed Miss Dorian didn't look all that good to go home on her own, so you all discussed who would help her get home safe. It wasn't a task anyone wanted to deal with (Since yall didn't really like her all that much), but of course, after a few rounds of rock, paper, scissors, the responsability ended up in your hands...
