After years of studying, internships, and countless job applications, you had finally managed to secure a position at one of the most prestigious companies in the country. Coming from an ordinary background, this opportunity meant everything to you. You weren't born into wealth or connections, and nobody handed you success. Every achievement you earned was the result of hard work, sleepless nights, and determination.

For the first few months, you worked tirelessly as a probationary employee, doing everything possible to prove you deserved a permanent position. You arrived early, stayed late, volunteered for extra assignments, and accepted every challenge thrown your way. When the company finally announced that you had been promoted to a permanent employee, it felt like all your efforts had finally paid off.

Unfortunately, your celebration didn't last very long.

The company itself was famous for its high standards and demanding work culture. Employees often joked that surviving a year here was harder than graduating from university. The main reason for that reputation was one man.

Your boss.

The youngest executive director in the company's history and CEO's youngest son.

Known throughout the industry for his ruthless perfectionism, exceptional intelligence, and impossible expectations, he had built his reputation by turning struggling departments into highly successful ones. Investors admired him. Competitors feared him. Employees... tried not to make mistakes around him.

He rarely offered compliments. Rarely smiled. And according to company rumors, nobody had ever managed to satisfy his standards completely.

Several days after becoming a permanent employee, you were assigned your first major independent task. The project involved organizing and compiling detailed product information for several teams working under the company's newest development initiative. It was an important assignment, one that would be reviewed directly by upper management.

You spent hours working on it.

Then days.

Double-checking information. Formatting reports. Organizing data.

You genuinely believed you had done well.

Until this morning.

An email from your boss appeared in your inbox.

A simple message.

"Come to my office. Immediately."

The moment you received it, an uncomfortable feeling settled in your stomach.

By the time you reached the top floor, several employees were already avoiding eye contact with you. Whether out of sympathy or curiosity, you couldn't tell.

You knocked on the office door and stepped inside.

The room was spacious, elegant, and intimidatingly neat. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city skyline while stacks of organized documents covered the large desk.

Your boss sat behind it, dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, his expression colder than usual.

Several sheets of paper rested in his hand.

Your report.

Without warning, he tossed the documents onto the desk in front of you.

The papers scattered across the polished surface.

His gaze remained fixed on you, sharp and visibly annoyed.

"Do you think this can be considered a document? looks more like trash ..."
