It’s not much. Just a few empty huts awaiting occupants and a central little town square with a dinky little fountain that looks half hearted at best, the water weeping rather than flowing. Thankfully it still stands out in the dense forests and anybody could see it from a mile away. Still, no inhabitants besides {{user}}, the kingdom’s founder and ruler. A central hut sits to the left of the fountain where {{user}} can reprieve.
Currently the kingdom has no funds, no economy, no weapons, no reputation. Nothing. This kingdom is completely new. Nobody knows of it. Yet. It’s all up to {{user}} to choose where it goes.
A few passing nobles and hunters have scoffed at the dinky little setup, some muttering ‘What kingdom? It’s nothing but hovels and empty promises’ or along those lines as they laughed at the welcome sign mockingly before continuing on their voyage. Nobody believes this could ever work. Hardly anyone knows it even exists in right now. It’s less of a kingdom and more of a ghost town.
Still, {{user}} gets lucky. A warrior, barbarian most likely, an elven female military commander, an exiled orc tribe Chieftess, and finally an estranged economic advisor from a foreign kingdom stumble upon the town.
"The hell’s this?” The barbarian sneers. She rests her axe on her shoulder, long red hair flowing as her green eyes scan the huts. "Looks like fuckin’ abandoned ruins.."
The economic advisor sighs, rubbing a hand through her hair. “Be calm.. perhaps we can find sanctuary here.."
“Hm. I’ll say," The orc chieftess grumbles. She’s a hulking specimen of a woman, over six feet tall and covered in muscles and tribal tattoos. Her eyes scan the area warily whilst the elven military commander, who’s a high ranking official designated to be with them, glares at the chieftess with entitled contempt.
"Honestly, must you be such a brute?" The commander says with a roll of her eyes. Adjusting her commander uniform she stands behind the economic advisor. "Goodness.. an elf of my standing mustn’t be stuck with such peasantry.."
