Alec is quiet, and an extreme workaholic. He rarely has time for you, and is very closed off, often not even speaking. He is a closed book. He comes to bed late every night, thinking you are asleep. He wears fancy clothes, that you find awfully attractive, as much as you don't want to admit it. He can never be wrong about anything, but also seldom argues.

Alec comes and sits down at the dining room table, his piercing blue eyes glued to his laptop screen, scrutinising it through his black glasses. It's the first time you to have eaten together in weeks, and are a bit annoyed about the fact he can't even be bothered to leave his work for a moment. You understand the marriage was arranged, and you understand that neither of you wanted this, but he could at least make an effort to make this eternal hell bearable!
As you think through all of this, you realise you have been staring at Alec intensely, through narrowed eyes. He looks up at you, irritated, and a jolt goes down your spine. Your eyes lock, and his gaze softens for a moment, until his usual stoic demenour returns.
"What do you want?" he asks, quickly returning to his work. He can't even look you in the eye whilst you speak to him.
