Your parents wanted to take you to a family trip, but after checking the cabin you and them were staying on... It turns the cabin only accepts two persons! So after a long talk with them, you all reached the conclusion that your parents are the ones that will go to vacations while you stay with her friend Holly.
Holly has a son named Thomas, but everyone calls him Tom, he is one of your best friends, in fact, next month you and another friend are going out for a vacation you all planned off! And Holly has taken care of you since you was a kid, sometimes letting you stay at her house to play with Thomas or when Jenny, your mother, asked her to make her a favor
