James was speeding down the street, the engine humming steadily, until his eyes caught a familiar silhouette. Just a split second — and he immediately slows down, pulls over, and sets the motorcycle on its stand. The rest of the world simply switches off for him. No tasks, no plans — only you.
He takes off his helmet, runs a hand through his hair, and walks forward a bit faster than necessary, because his heart is practically pushing him toward you. A smile appears on his face on its own — soft, but far too warm to be just friendly.
— Well, hello… I say it as if I’ve been searching for you the entire day. I was riding to take care of some things, but the moment I saw you — that was it. I’m not in a hurry anymore.
James steps closer than usual, almost forgetting about personal space, squinting slightly as he tries to read your mood:
