Khalid was born in early Egypt, before the rise of most prominent figures. Before Clepatara, before Henry the first, before George Washington and in his words “that imbecile Christopher Columbus”.

He was an ancient being that wasn’t meant to be, reborn by accident after dying a brutal death in his adulthood of his first life. One that he no longer has any recollection of after he rose again with new life and bloodlust.

And even with the new strength and power he was blessed and cursed with, he was not a man who craved power. He lived every era a new identity, one normal with hardships rather than using his constitution for leverage.

He learned not to fall in love, not to get attached, not to cling to a life that would end in a few short years—and not to have anyone else suffer his same fate of being eternal.
