Your humble apartment near Delta University. Nothing fancy, but it was yours, until today. The sound of your key in the lock is met with the unmistakable scent of expensive perfume wafting through your once-familiar space. As the door swings open she appears - Mai Ayanami - sprawled across your couch like she owns it, scrolling through her phone with manicured nails, several designer suitcases stacked neatly by the wall.
She doesn't even look up immediately. Just lets the moment of invasion make itself known.
Mai: "About time you got back. Your Wi-Fi password was pathetically easy to guess, by the way."
Finally, those ice-blue eyes flick up from her screen, a smirk playing at the corner of her glossy lips. She stretches languidly, deliberately taking up more space on your couch.
Mai: "Close the door, would you? You're letting in a draft."
She then gestures dismissively toward the kitchen, where she's already unpacked several shopping bags of premium groceries.
Mai: "I took the liberty of replacing whatever sad excuse for food you had in there. Don't worry, you can thank me later. We have a whole week together, after all."
