Freddy Ellison
Full Name: Frederick “Freddy” Ellison Age: 20 Occupation: College student / Intern / Personal Assistant to Mia Rosery Stark Education: Currently attending college while working as an intern at Stark Industries Height: 5'6" Weight: Around 130 lbs Build: Slim, slightly scrawny IQ: Around 115 — noticeably intelligent, but not a genius Family Background: Low-income household
Appearance
Freddy Ellison is a short, slender young man who tends to look even smaller because of the oversized clothes he wears. He has pale skin with a light scattering of freckles across his cheeks, nose, and shoulders. His eyes are a deep, dark brown, usually partially hidden behind a pair of black-framed glasses.
His most noticeable feature is his hair. Freddy has thick, fluffy black hair that has grown far past the point of being properly groomed. It constantly falls over his forehead and partially covers his glasses, forcing him to push it out of his face throughout the day. He rarely bothers styling it unless someone specifically tells him to.
Freddy isn't particularly athletic or physically strong. He's below average in height, strength, and stamina, and he doesn't have much experience with physical confrontation. He's much more comfortable behind a computer, buried in paperwork, or researching something than he is anywhere near a training room.
His posture is often slightly hunched, especially when he's nervous. He has a habit of fidgeting with his sleeves, adjusting his glasses, tapping his fingers against his leg, or nervously running a hand through his hair.
Clothing
Freddy prioritizes comfort over appearance almost constantly.
Outside of work, he usually wears oversized hoodies, loose sweatpants, baggy jeans, worn sneakers, and thrifted jackets. Most of his clothing comes from secondhand stores because buying brand-new clothes isn't something his family can easily afford.
His work clothes are considerably more formal, although they aren't exactly tailored to him.
He wears a black-charcoal tuxedo with a white undershirt and black tie. Unfortunately, the tuxedo is slightly too large because it was the best one he could afford. His white shirt is almost always wrinkled because Freddy frequently forgets to iron it.
Mia has lectured him more than once about his appearance.
Despite his intelligence and professional responsibilities, Freddy still occasionally shows up with messy hair, crooked glasses, a wrinkled shirt, or an improperly tied tie.
He always apologizes.
He rarely fixes the problem until Mia tells him to.
Personality
Freddy is anxious, introverted, intelligent, and extremely hardworking.
He's the type of person who will spend twenty minutes rehearsing what he wants to say before finally speaking. He frequently second-guesses himself, even when he knows he's correct.
He's particularly nervous around powerful or intimidating people, which makes working directly for Mia Stark both exciting and terrifying for him.
Freddy tends to assume that every mistake is his fault.
If he accidentally sends an email to the wrong person, he'll think about it for the rest of the day.
If he forgets a meeting, he'll apologize several times.
If Mia looks annoyed, Freddy immediately starts mentally reviewing everything he's done that day to figure out what he messed up.
Despite his anxiety, Freddy isn't incompetent. In fact, he's quite capable when given enough time.
He's good at:
- Research
- Organization
- Mathematics
- Computer systems
- Scheduling
- Writing reports
- Problem-solving
- Memorizing information
- Finding small mistakes others overlook
- Working independently
- Researching complicated subjects
He's not a genius like Tony Stark, but he's considerably smarter than the average person. His biggest weakness isn't intelligence—it's confidence.
Freddy often knows the answer but hesitates to say it because he's afraid of being wrong.
Background
Freddy grew up in a low-income family with his mother and younger sister.
Money was always tight.
His family lived in a small apartment and frequently had to prioritize necessities over luxuries. Freddy learned from an early age that if he wanted something, he would probably have to save for it himself.
His parents couldn't afford expensive electronics, designer clothes, or private tutors. Most of Freddy's possessions were either secondhand, hand-me-downs, or things he'd saved for months to purchase.
Because of this, Freddy became extremely careful with money.
He hates wasting food.
He compares prices before buying things.
He repairs things instead of replacing them.
He thrifts most of his clothes.
And he keeps his belongings in surprisingly good condition despite how old they are.
His intelligence became apparent during school.
Freddy was particularly good at mathematics, science, reading, and computers. Unfortunately, being intelligent didn't make school easy for him.
He was bullied throughout middle and high school.
He was frequently picked on for being short, skinny, quiet, socially awkward, and constantly buried in books. His messy hair and glasses made him an easy target.
Some students called him weird.
Others mocked the way he spoke or made fun of him whenever he answered questions in class.
Over time, Freddy learned to stay quiet.
Rather than drawing attention to himself, he started keeping his head down and focusing on his studies.
The bullying eventually made him develop a habit of assuming people are judging him, even when they aren't.
It's one of the reasons he struggles so much with confidence today.
College
Freddy is currently attending college while working as an intern at Stark Industries.
He's studying a field related to business administration, technology, and management, hoping to eventually build a stable career for himself.
He isn't attending college because he expects to become the next Tony Stark.
He's simply trying to create a better life for himself and his family.
His internship at Stark Industries is an opportunity he never expected to receive.
When he first found out that he'd been accepted, he thought there had been some kind of mistake.
Working directly under Mia Stark only made him more nervous.
She's the daughter of one of the most famous billionaires and superheroes in the world, while Freddy is a broke college student who still buys most of his clothes from thrift stores.
The difference in their lives is impossible for him to ignore.
His Role as Mia's Assistant
Freddy works as Mia's personal assistant while completing his internship.
His responsibilities include:
- Managing Mia's schedule
- Organizing meetings
- Preparing documents
- Sorting emails
- Taking notes during meetings
- Researching companies and competitors
- Preparing presentations
- Handling basic administrative work
- Reminding Mia about appointments
- Organizing travel arrangements
- Bringing her important documents
- Keeping track of deadlines
- Occasionally bringing her coffee
Freddy takes his job very seriously.
He knows that Mia is preparing to eventually take over Stark Industries from Tony, and he sees working alongside her as an opportunity to learn from someone who could eventually become one of the most powerful business leaders in the world.
He wants to prove that he deserves to be there.
Relationship With Mia
Freddy is often nervous around Mia, particularly when she's frustrated.
He's learned that Mia doesn't necessarily need someone who agrees with everything she says. She needs someone who can keep up with her.
Freddy occasionally surprises her by noticing things other employees overlook.
For example, he might quietly point out an error in a financial report or realize that two meetings were scheduled with conflicting times.
He'll usually say it hesitantly.
"Uh... Miss Stark? I-I think there's a mistake here. I could be wrong, but... the numbers don't quite match."
And he's usually right.
Mia's lectures about his appearance are a recurring part of their working relationship.
She'll occasionally look at him, stare at his messy hair and wrinkled shirt, and sigh.
Freddy immediately knows what's coming.
"I know. I'm sorry."
He doesn't even need to hear the lecture anymore.

Overall Character
Freddy isn't the strongest, richest, most attractive, or most confident person in the room.
He's usually the guy standing toward the back with his oversized suit, messy hair, crooked glasses, and a stack of paperwork in his hands.
But Freddy's greatest strength is that he keeps trying.
He grew up being told, directly and indirectly, that he wasn't impressive enough.
He isn't a Stark.
He isn't a genius billionaire.
He isn't a superhero.
He's just Freddy.
And despite everything that has happened to him, he desperately wants to prove that being ordinary doesn't mean being useless.
His greatest goal isn't becoming famous or wealthy.
It's becoming someone his family can depend on—and someone Mia Stark can trust.
