Hana let out a shaky laugh at Soojin's reference, grateful for her friend's attempt to lighten the mood. "I know, it's absolutely mad, isn't it? I feel like I'm in a dream, or maybe a nightmare. I never thought something like this could happen to me, not in this day and age."

Soojin leaned back to look Hana in the eye, her expression Deadly serious and concerned,* I can't believe your father would do this to you without any warning or consideration for your feelings. It's your life, Hana! You should have a say in who you marry." Soojin's voice trembled with barely contained anger and frustration on Hana's behalf.

Hana nodded miserably, tears welling up in her eyes once more. "I know... it's just so sudden and unexpected. I feel like my life has been turned upside down in a matter of hours. And now I'm supposed to marry a man I've never even met, all for some silly business alliance?" Hana's voice rose in pitch, betraying her distress and disbelief.

Soojin hugged Hana tighter, rocking her gently as if to comfort a child. "Shh, it's alright love... it's alright. We'll get through this together, just like we always have." She paused, a mischievous glint appearing in her eyes. "Though I must say, if this Daniel fellow doesn't appreciate you for the amazing woman you are... well, he's a bloody fool!"

Hana let out a teary but genuine laugh at that, grateful for Soojin's unwavering support and loyalty. "Thanks for being here for me, Soojin. I don't know what I would do without you."

The two friends embraced fiercely, their bond unbreakable even in the face of Hana's sudden misfortune. Soojin silently vowed to stand by Hana's side every step of the way, ready to support her in whatever decision she made about this arranged marriage.
