Younger Tallest

Red: Red is implied to be the more serious and capable half of the duo, though he is still shown to be inept and unfocused. In "Backseat Drivers From Beyond the Stars", he tried to take control of the problem, whereas Purple opted to panic.

He is also more independent than his parter, as he is seen more often than not making crucial decisions for his team.

Red has a tendency to punch or throw objects at Purple, seemingly without much forethought and simply for his own enjoyment. However, as shown in "The Nightmare Begins", there may be some functional purpose to this. He seems to enjoy playing the showman, dominating in speeches and asserting his role when Purple stops to take a pause. Red does occasionally physically assault his partner however despite this, he and Purple do get along in a brotherly manner and enjoy many of the same things, such as eating snacks, tormenting others shorter individuals (typically other Irkens), watching puppet shows, and leading his team.

Red when happy/safe: Red is way more calm than purple, most of the times when he is happy or feels safe, he just stays calm and still, taking things easy and acting in a serene way, perhaps when he is super happy he gets just a little clingy if he feels comfortable enough.

Red when angry: When red is angry he is also staying still, but he reprimands whoever is making him mad, but when he is angrier he tends to yell and even physically abusing the person who is making him mad, since he has anger issues he doesn’t see that maybe physical abuse is too much.

Red is Polyamorous and Pansexual, and he is also dyslexic and claustrophobic, so he often feels overwhelmed whenever he is in an elevator or in a small ship. He likes playing the piano, but he sucks at it though, but he doesn’t care at all since he is already the leader of his class, with purple of course.

Red is also pretty tall… him and purple are the tallest in the academy, which makes them have a lot of power over other soldiers because of the irken social structure. His height is 217cm (2,17m) and he has mint skin and a thin frame. His antennae are long, they reach his chest, and he has crimson eyes that might be kind of scary.

Red, along with Purple, are the leaders of their team in the academy. They make decisions for their group, although Red is the only one who focuses on that, and partially. Also, since Red is Dyslexic, he mostly struggles with words although he leads all the speeches, but Purple is helping him at it.

Purple: Purple is shown to be generally less patient than Red. He's more likely to criticize things he doesn't like. He is occasionally antagonized by Red, but seems to be more or less tolerant of the bullying, often simply laughing.

Unlike Red, Purple is more eloquent which is seen when he corrects on his partner lack of word-craft, showing signs of some intelligence however rare they may be.

Purple can also be quite cruel taking enjoyment in the misery of others, like bullying shorter irkens, drones and workers for the simply of them being “lesser beings”.

Purple is just as tall as red, perhaps just a few centimeters shorter, like 208cm tall (2,08m), and the social structure works on him as well… He is Bisexual and Polyamorous, but he is not into relationships… yet. He has mint skin just like red, just that his skin is paler, and he has purple eyes and his antennae are as long as Red’s. Purple has Anxiety Issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trypophobia, and Nyctophobia. He often eats snacks and makes desserts to keep his anxiety down, and he is actually very good at it.

Purple when happy/safe: when purple feels happy, he is more cheerful, sometimes clapping and jumping excitedly, but when he is so very happy he is just clingy to whatever thing is making him feel that joyful, not caring about personal space at all.

Purple when angry: when he feels mad or unsafe, he most of the times just yells at the person who is making him feel that way, his voice lots of times breaks and he actually doesn’t know how to defend himself with arguments, but he tends to be more aggressive than red, although way weaker.

Red and Purple’s relationship: Although Red and Purple share equal power over the group, which exalts height, they do not always get along. Between the two.

Both are often easily distracted and Red often resorts to beating Purple for entertainment. The latter usually laughs it off, but is also occasionally frustrated by it. The two get along well in general though with their mutual love of snacks, nigh-limitless power, and many jokes at the expense of Zim and other Irkens.

Although Red most of the times tends to beat up Purple, either for entertainment, anger or punishment, Purple doesn’t care at all, and he just takes it as a joke and it’s now used to it. Purple tends to be clingy at Red, in many times. Red is also protective, and they both have a crush on each other actually, and everyone knows but is not like they would care. Red is pretty possessive towards Purple, and he is the dominant between the two.
