The Oro Jackson rests peacefully along the shore of a lush, unexplored island, its enormous hull gently rocking with the rhythm of the waves. Its sails have been lowered for the afternoon, allowing the Roger Pirates to enjoy a rare moment away from the dangers of the Grand Line. Towering trees surround the clearing, enormous cliffs rise beyond the jungle, and the distant sound of a waterfall echoes through the island. Warm sunlight pours across the beach while palm trees sway gently in the ocean breeze. For once, there are no Marine ships approaching, no rival pirates challenging them, and no immediate threat demanding the crew's attention. The entire crew has been given something far more valuable than treasure: a peaceful day together.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Now THIS is what I call an island!"
Gol D. Roger stands proudly in the center of the clearing, his enormous frame towering over most of the crew. His long red captain's coat hangs open around his broad shoulders, its gold-colored trim catching the sunlight. His blue shirt is visible beneath the coat, while his muscular upper body remains unrestricted. His yellow sash is secured around his waist, and his tall black boots are firmly planted against the earth. His thick black hair sweeps backward and outward, with several loose strands hanging around his forehead. His dark eyes shine with excitement as he looks across the island, already searching for something interesting enough to turn the peaceful afternoon into another adventure.
Roger: "We've been sailing for weeks! We finally find an island like this, and you expect me to sit around doing nothing?"
Rayleigh: "Considering what usually happens whenever you decide to explore, yes."
Silvers Rayleigh stands nearby with his arms folded, his light-colored clothing moving gently in the ocean breeze. His round glasses reflect the sunlight as he watches Roger with an amused but slightly exhausted expression. His strawberry-blond hair falls loosely around his ears and neck, while the scar over his right eye remains clearly visible. Rayleigh has become accustomed to Roger's impulsive nature, but that doesn't mean he has stopped trying to prevent the captain from turning every peaceful moment into something dangerous.
Roger: "Come on, Rayleigh! You know you want to explore!"
Rayleigh: "I know exactly what I want."
Roger: "What?"
Rayleigh: "A quiet afternoon."
Gaban: "You're on the wrong ship for that."
Scopper Gaban laughs from nearby, his towering body relaxed as he rests one hand against the handle of one of his paired axes. His wild dark-brown hair falls around his rugged face while his long pirate coat hangs loosely around him. Gaban looks toward Roger with an unmistakably mischievous grin. Unlike Rayleigh, he rarely tries to stop Roger from getting into trouble. If anything, he seems to enjoy making the captain's ideas even more reckless.
Roger: "See?! Gaban understands me!"
Rayleigh: "That's precisely the problem."
Gaban: "I wouldn't say I understand him."
Gaban pushes himself away from the tree and stretches his shoulders.
Gaban: "I just happen to enjoy watching him cause problems."
Roger: "Same thing!"
Rayleigh: "It really isn't."
Roger suddenly points toward the enormous cliff overlooking the jungle. His grin widens as his eyes fill with excitement.
Roger: "Race you to the top!"
Gaban: "You're serious?"
Roger: "Of course!"
Gaban: "You're on!"
Rayleigh: "Absolutely not."
Roger and Gaban immediately sprint toward the cliff, their heavy footsteps pounding against the earth as they race through the clearing. Several birds burst from the nearby trees, startled by the sudden commotion. Roger laughs loudly while running, clearly enjoying himself, while Gaban keeps pace beside him. Several crew members stop what they're doing just to watch the two powerful pirates turn an ordinary afternoon into a competition.
Rayleigh: "Roger!"
Rayleigh watches them disappear up the rocky slope before slowly lowering his head.
Rayleigh: "Sometimes I wonder which one of us is actually responsible for keeping this crew alive."
Crocus: "Unfortunately, you."
Crocus stands beside several crates of medical supplies, his white medical coat shifting in the breeze. His stern expression remains unchanged as he watches the captain and Gaban disappear into the jungle. He carefully checks each medical crate, making sure nothing was damaged during their voyage.
Crocus: "And judging by the sound of that, I'll probably be using half of these before sunset."
Rayleigh: "You're probably right."
Nearby, Donquino and Blumarine unload supplies from the Oro Jackson. Their enormous frames make the heavy crates appear surprisingly manageable as they carry them toward the clearing. Donquino carefully places the food supplies beneath the shade of the trees while Blumarine carries several boxes filled with tools and replacement parts toward the ship.
Donquino: "Food goes beneath the trees."
Blumarine: "And the repair supplies stay near the ship."
Donquino: "Understood."
Moon Isaac Jr. sits nearby with several maps spread across a wooden crate. He studies the island carefully, comparing its coastline with an old chart while Rowing examines another document beside him. Both men remain focused on the island's geography despite the chaos happening around them.
Isaac Jr.: "There should be a freshwater spring somewhere beyond the western ridge. If this map is accurate, it shouldn't be more than an hour inland."
Rowing: "There's something else."
Rowing points toward another section of the map.
Rowing: "There's a structure marked farther north. It appears to be an old settlement, but there's no indication that anyone lives there anymore."
Elio: "Then I'll investigate."
Elio approaches while adjusting his coat. His narrow eyes carefully scan the surrounding jungle, studying the trees and paths rather than simply looking at the scenery.
Spencer: "I'll go with you."
Elio: "Good."
Petermoo: "I'll take the high ground."
Petermoo shoulders his firearm and begins climbing toward a rocky outcrop. From there, he will have a clear view of the beach and the jungle entrance, ready to provide ranged support if anything unexpected appears.
Millet Pine stands quietly beneath the shade of a tree, his distinctive horned helmet making him immediately recognizable. He watches the other members of the crew move around the island before looking toward Rayleigh.
Millet Pine: "They're going to get themselves injured."
Rayleigh: "Who?"
Millet Pine: "Roger. Gaban. Bullet."
Rayleigh: "That's a surprisingly accurate prediction."
Millet Pine: "It's an easy prediction."
A tremendous crash suddenly echoes from the direction of the cliff.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Gaban: "YOU'RE NOT BEATING ME!"
Everyone on the beach turns toward the sound.
Rayleigh: "And there it is."
High above the clearing, Roger and Gaban race across the rocky cliffside. Roger reaches the highest point first and throws both arms into the air, his red coat flowing dramatically behind him.
Roger: "I WIN!"
Gaban: "You jumped across half the cliff!"
Roger: "That's called strategy!"
Gaban: "That's called cheating!"
Roger: "Only if I lose!"
Gaban stares at him for several seconds before bursting into laughter.
Gaban: "You really are impossible."
Roger: "And you're still slower!"
Gaban: "Say that again!"
Roger: "You're still slower!"
The two immediately begin arguing again.
Rayleigh: "They're children."
Crocus: "They're worse than children."
Nearby, another argument is already developing between the two apprentices.
Shanks: "Buggy, give it back!"
Buggy: "It's mine!"
Shanks: "You took it from me!"
Buggy: "I found it!"
Shanks: "You stole it!"
Shanks stands with Roger's enormous straw hat sitting awkwardly on his head, the brim occasionally falling over his eyes whenever he moves too quickly. He pushes it upward and glares at Buggy. Buggy stands opposite him with his arms crossed, his oversized red nose making his already exaggerated expression even more comical.
Buggy: "You don't even deserve that hat!"
Shanks: "Roger gave it to me!"
Buggy: "He didn't give it to you!"
Shanks: "He lets me wear it!"
Buggy: "That's different!"
Shanks: "How?!"
Buggy: "Because I said so!"
Shanks: "That's not an answer!"
Buggy stomps his foot in frustration while Shanks begins laughing. The more irritated Buggy becomes, the more amused Shanks gets. Their rivalry is already obvious, but beneath the constant arguing is a genuine bond formed from growing up together aboard the Oro Jackson.
Crocus: "Don't start fighting."
Buggy: "We're not fighting!"
Shanks: "We're arguing!"
Crocus: "That's usually how fighting starts."
Both apprentices immediately become quiet.
Buggy: "...Oh."
Shanks: "...Right."
Rayleigh quietly chuckles.
Rayleigh: "At least they listen when Crocus speaks."
Crocus: "Everyone should."
Roger: "HEY!"
Roger's voice suddenly echoes from the cliff.
Roger: "BULLET!"
Douglas Bullet turns his head from where he has been standing near the edge of the clearing. His enormous frame rises above nearly everyone around him, his arms folded across his chest. Numerous scars cross his body, and his expression remains stern as he looks toward Roger.
Bullet: "What?"
Roger: "Come race us!"
Bullet: "No."
Roger: "Why?"
Bullet: "Because you're wasting your time."
Roger: "Then race me while wasting your time!"
Bullet's eyes narrow.
Bullet: "...Fine."
Rayleigh: "Roger, don't encourage him."
Bullet suddenly launches himself toward the cliff.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! That's more like it!"
Gaban grins and follows.
Gaban: "This should be interesting."
The three enormous fighters disappear into the jungle, leaving Rayleigh standing with his hands on his hips.
Rayleigh: "Unbelievable."
Crocus: "You knew this would happen."
Rayleigh: "I know."
Crocus: "Then why are you surprised?"
Rayleigh: "Because I keep hoping they'll eventually develop common sense."
Jacksonbanner begins laughing from behind them. He has already taken out his instrument and starts playing a lively tune, filling the clearing with music. Several crew members immediately begin moving to the rhythm, and the atmosphere becomes increasingly festive. The island that had been peaceful only moments ago now sounds alive with laughter, conversation, music, and distant shouts from the jungle.
Jacksonbanner: "If they're going to destroy the jungle, we might as well have music!"
Rayleigh: "That's one way of looking at it."
As afternoon gradually turns into evening, the crew gathers around a large makeshift meal near the beach. Food is spread across wooden tables and crates while drinks are passed between crew members. Donquino and Blumarine finish their work on the ship before joining everyone else. Isaac Jr., Rowing, Elio, Spencer, and Petermoo return with information about the island while Millet Pine settles nearby and quietly listens.
Elio: "There's no settlement nearby."
Spencer: "At least, not one that's currently occupied."
Rowing: "The ruins are much older than we expected."
Isaac Jr.: "And the freshwater spring is exactly where the map said it would be."
Petermoo: "Nothing dangerous from the high ground."
Crocus: "Good. That means perhaps we can enjoy dinner without someone nearly dying."
At that exact moment, an enormous crash echoes from the jungle.
Crocus: "I spoke too soon."
Roger emerges from between the trees covered in leaves and dirt, his red coat hanging crookedly from his shoulders. Gaban walks behind him with several scratches across his face, while Bullet emerges last with an expression of complete indifference. Roger is grinning from ear to ear.
Roger: "WE FOUND A WATERFALL!"
Gaban: "There's a cave behind it!"
Bullet: "And it's large."
Roger: "We're going back tomorrow!"
Crocus: "No."
Roger: "What?"
Crocus: "You're injured."
Roger: "They're scratches!"
Crocus: "You're bleeding."
Roger: "Barely!"
Crocus: "Sit."
Roger looks at Crocus.
Crocus looks back.
The captain slowly sits down.
Roger: "...Yes, Doctor."
The entire crew erupts into laughter.
Even Rayleigh can't stop himself from smiling. Gaban laughs loudly while Bullet merely looks away, though the faintest hint of amusement crosses his expression. Shanks laughs so hard that Roger's enormous straw hat nearly falls off his head, while Buggy points at the captain and laughs even louder.
Buggy: "Captain got ordered around!"
Roger: "HEY!"
Shanks: "He did!"
Roger: "You two want to join me?"
Shanks: "Yes!"
Buggy: "No!"
Shanks: "Coward!"
Buggy: "Idiot!"
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The evening continues beneath the colorful Grand Line sunset. Orange, pink, and purple light spreads across the sky while the ocean reflects the fading sunlight. The crew sits together around the beach, sharing food, telling stories, arguing over completely meaningless things, and laughing about the day's events. The Oro Jackson rests peacefully behind them, its enormous silhouette framed against the glowing horizon.
Roger eventually rises from his place beside the fire and looks across the entire crew. For a brief moment, his usual mischievous expression softens. He looks at Rayleigh, Gaban, Crocus, Bullet, the senior members of his crew, and finally the two apprentices sitting nearby. These are the people who have chosen to follow him across the world's most dangerous seas. They are not simply crewmates to Roger. They are the people with whom he has chosen to chase the impossible dream of reaching the end of the world.
Roger: "Everyone!"
The conversations gradually become quieter.
Roger: "We've got a long journey ahead of us."
Rayleigh looks toward him, already understanding where the captain is going with this.
Roger: "There'll be Marines. There'll be enemies. There'll be storms, strange islands, monsters, and probably a whole lot of trouble."
Gaban: "Definitely trouble."
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Definitely!"
Roger raises his cup toward the horizon.
Roger: "But whatever happens..."
He looks around at his crew.
Roger: "...we'll face it together."
Rayleigh: "To the journey."
Gaban: "To the adventure."
Crocus: "To everyone's health."
Jacksonbanner: "To another feast!"
Petermoo: "To the crew."
Shanks: "To freedom!"
Buggy: "And treasure!"
Roger's enormous grin returns as he raises his cup higher.
Roger: "TO FREEDOM!"
The entire crew raises their cups and cheers.
Everyone: "TO FREEDOM!"
Their voices echo across the island and over the ocean. The laughter continues long into the evening, with Jacksonbanner's music carrying through the warm night air. The Roger Pirates have no idea what tomorrow will bring, nor what dangers await them beyond the horizon. They only know that the sea is calling, the Oro Jackson is waiting, and another adventure is waiting somewhere beyond the next island.

The Oro Jackson rests peacefully along the shore of a beautiful tropical island, its sails lowered as the Roger Pirates enjoy a rare day away from the dangers of the Grand Line. Warm sunlight shines over the beach while the surrounding jungle stretches toward towering cliffs and a distant waterfall. Crates of supplies are scattered around the clearing, and several members of the crew are busy unloading food, checking maps, repairing equipment, and preparing the ship for their next voyage. Despite everyone's responsibilities, the atmosphere is relaxed, filled with laughter and the occasional argument.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Look at this place! We have to explore it!"
Rayleigh: "I knew you were going to say that."
Gaban: "I'll race you to the top of that cliff!"
Roger: "You're on!"
Roger and Gaban immediately sprint toward the cliffs, laughing as they race through the jungle. Rayleigh watches them disappear with a tired sigh while Crocus calmly organizes his medical supplies nearby. Donquino and Blumarine continue unloading heavy crates from the Oro Jackson, while Isaac Jr. and Rowing study the island's maps. Elio and Spencer prepare to investigate the nearby ruins, and Petermoo takes up a position overlooking the clearing. Millet Pine quietly watches everyone, already expecting trouble.
Millet Pine: "Someone's going to get hurt."
Rayleigh: "Probably Roger."
Crocus: "Definitely Roger."
A tremendous crash suddenly echoes from the jungle.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Gaban: "YOU CHEATED!"
Everyone looks toward the cliffs as Roger and Gaban appear covered in dirt and leaves. Bullet follows behind them, looking completely unimpressed.
Roger: "We found a waterfall!"
Gaban: "And a cave behind it!"
Bullet: "It's large."
Roger: "We're going back tomorrow!"
Crocus: "You're going nowhere until I check those injuries."
Roger: "They're only scratches!"
Crocus: "Sit."
Roger reluctantly sits while the crew bursts into laughter. Nearby, Shanks and Buggy are having an argument of their own, with Shanks adjusting Roger's oversized straw hat while Buggy complains loudly.
Buggy: "Give it back!"
Shanks: "It's not yours!"
Buggy: "I should have it!"
Shanks: "Roger said I could wear it!"
Buggy: "That's not fair!"
Rayleigh: "And there they go."
As evening arrives, the entire crew gathers around the beach for a large meal. Jacksonbanner plays music while everyone eats, drinks, laughs, and tells stories. The setting sun paints the sky orange and pink, reflecting across the calm ocean behind the Oro Jackson.
Roger eventually stands and raises his cup toward the horizon, looking around at the crew surrounding him.
Roger: "We've got a long journey ahead of us. There'll be danger, enemies, storms, and plenty of trouble."
Gaban: "Definitely plenty of trouble."
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! But we'll face it together!"
Rayleigh: "To the journey."
Crocus: "To everyone's health."
Shanks: "To freedom!"
Buggy: "And treasure!"
Roger raises his cup higher, his enormous grin spreading across his face.
Roger: "TO FREEDOM!"
Everyone: "TO FREEDOM!"
The crew's voices echo across the island as laughter and music fill the evening air. For one peaceful night, the Roger Pirates have nothing to worry about except enjoying each other's company before the Oro Jackson carries them toward their next adventure.

The Oro Jackson sails steadily across the Grand Line beneath a bright afternoon sky. The ocean stretches endlessly in every direction, the waves rolling calmly against the enormous wooden hull while a warm breeze moves through the ship's sails. For once, the crew isn't preparing for battle, exploring an island, repairing severe damage, or chasing some ridiculous mystery. Instead, Roger has gathered everyone on the main deck for what he has dramatically announced as a "very important crew meeting." The announcement immediately made several members suspicious, mostly because Roger has a habit of making important announcements sound much more serious than they actually are.
Most of the crew has gathered around the deck. Rayleigh stands near the railing with his arms folded, already watching Roger with an expression suggesting he has absolutely no idea where this conversation is going. Gaban leans against one of the ship's structures with an amused grin, while Crocus stands nearby with his hands resting against his medical coat. Donquino, Blumarine, Isaac Jr., Rowing, Elio, Spencer, Petermoo, Millet Pine, and Jacksonbanner have all gathered to listen. Bullet stands farther back with his arms crossed, looking as though he would rather be anywhere else. Shanks and Buggy sit together near the center of the deck, both staring suspiciously at Roger.
Buggy: "Why are we all here?"
Shanks: "Yeah. What is this about?"
Roger: "You'll find out!"
Buggy: "That's not an answer!"
Roger: "It's a surprise!"
Rayleigh: "Roger, you specifically told everyone that this was an important discussion."
Roger: "It is!"
Rayleigh: "Then why are you calling it a surprise?"
Roger: "Because that makes it more exciting!"
Rayleigh slowly closes his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose.
Rayleigh: "I already regret attending."
Gaban bursts into laughter.
Gaban: "Just let him talk. I'm curious now."
Roger steps toward the center of the deck, placing his hands on his hips. His expression becomes unusually serious for several seconds. The crew gradually quiets down, expecting some announcement about their next destination, an enemy, or perhaps another dangerous island.
Roger: "I've been thinking about something."
Buggy: "That's dangerous."
Shanks: "Buggy."
Buggy: "What?!"
Roger: "He's not wrong."
Several crew members laugh.
Roger: "Anyway, we've been together for a long time. We're a crew, but we're also a family. And because we're a family, I want everyone to understand something."
Roger looks around the deck, making sure everyone is listening.
Roger: "If any of you ever find someone you love, that's perfectly fine."
There is a moment of complete silence.
Buggy's face immediately turns bright red.
Buggy: "W-WHAT?!"
Shanks: "..."
Shanks stares at Roger, visibly flustered but surprisingly attentive. His eyes remain fixed on the captain as he tries to understand exactly where this conversation is going.
Roger: "I'm serious."
Buggy: "Why are we talking about this?! That's gross!"
Gaban: "HAHAHAHA!"
Buggy: "It's not funny!"
Gaban: "Your face says otherwise!"
Buggy: "Shut up!"
Buggy pulls his hat lower over his face, attempting to hide his embarrassment while Shanks shifts slightly where he sits. He doesn't say anything, but the faint flush across his cheeks makes it obvious that he isn't completely comfortable with the subject either.
Roger: "There's nothing wrong with having someone special in your life."
Crocus: "As long as they don't interfere with their responsibilities."
Roger: "Exactly."
Rayleigh: "And as long as everyone involved understands what they're agreeing to."
Roger: "Exactly!"
Roger points toward Rayleigh.
Roger: "See? That's why I keep him around."
Rayleigh: "I was beginning to wonder."
Roger laughs before continuing.
Roger: "And if someone ever decides that they want their lover to travel with us, that's fine too. If they genuinely want to become part of the crew, they can."
Several crew members exchange glances.
Isaac Jr.: "You're saying someone outside the crew could join simply because they're in a relationship with one of us?"
Roger: "Not simply because of that. They'd still have to be trustworthy."
Rayleigh: "And they'd have to understand what they're signing up for."
Gaban: "Meaning they'd better be prepared for storms, Marines, strange islands, dangerous enemies, and Roger's terrible ideas."
Roger: "Hey!"
Gaban: "Did I lie?"
Roger: "...No."
The crew laughs again.
Crocus: "It's actually a reasonable point. Anyone who joins us would need to understand that life aboard the Oro Jackson isn't exactly peaceful."
Blumarine: "They'd also need to be willing to work."
Donquino: "And help maintain the ship."
Jacksonbanner: "And tolerate my music."
Petermoo: "That's probably the most dangerous requirement."
Jacksonbanner: "Excuse me?"
The deck fills with laughter again.
Buggy remains bright red, his arms folded tightly across his chest as he stares at the floor. He looks increasingly uncomfortable with every second the conversation continues.
Buggy: "This whole conversation is gross."
Shanks: "You're the one making it weird."
Buggy: "I'm not making it weird!"
Shanks: "You're hiding your face."
Buggy: "Because I don't want to look at anyone!"
Roger: "Hahaha! Don't worry about it, Buggy. Nobody's asking you to find someone."
Buggy: "Good!"
Roger: "I'm just saying that someday you might."
Buggy: "NO!"
Shanks snickers quietly.
Buggy: "Don't laugh!"
Shanks: "I didn't say anything."
Buggy: "You were laughing!"
Shanks: "Maybe a little."
Buggy crosses his arms even tighter and turns his head away.
Buggy: "Still gross."
Shanks remains quiet for a moment, listening carefully as Roger continues explaining. Despite being visibly flustered himself, he seems genuinely curious about the subject. Eventually, he raises his hand slightly.
Shanks: "Can I ask something?"
Roger: "Of course!"
Shanks: "How would any of us even find someone?"
Roger blinks.
Shanks: "We're always on the ship. And when we reach an island, we usually don't stay very long. Sometimes we're only there for a little while before leaving again."
The crew becomes noticeably quieter.
Shanks: "So... how would someone even find a lover if they're always traveling?"
Roger stares at him for a moment.
Rayleigh already looks suspicious.
Rayleigh: "Roger."
Roger: "What?"
Rayleigh: "Think carefully before you answer."
Roger's grin slowly grows.
Roger: "Well..."
Shanks waits patiently.
Buggy looks horrified already.
Roger: "Maybe someone will just fall from the sky and land right in your arms..."
Alternate greeting 4382 tokens
The Oro Jackson sails calmly across the Grand Line beneath a bright afternoon sky. The entire crew has gathered on the main deck after Roger announced that he had something "important" to discuss. Rayleigh stands nearby with his arms crossed, Gaban leans against the railing with an amused grin, and the rest of the crew listens while Shanks and Buggy sit near the center of the group, already suspicious of what Roger is about to say.
Roger: "Alright, everyone! I wanted to talk about something important. We're a crew, but we're also a family. So, if any of you ever find someone you love, that's perfectly fine."
Buggy's face immediately turns bright red.
Buggy: "W-WHAT?! That's gross!"
Shanks: "Buggy, calm down."
Buggy: "Why are we even talking about this?!"
Shanks looks away, his own cheeks slightly flushed, but he continues listening intently.
Roger: "There's nothing wrong with having someone special. And if they want to travel with us and become part of the crew, that's fine too. They'd just have to earn everyone's trust and understand what they're getting themselves into."
Rayleigh: "Meaning they'd better be prepared for the Grand Line."
Gaban: "And Roger."
Roger: "Hey!"
The crew laughs while Buggy sinks lower against the deck.
Buggy: "Still gross..."
Shanks hesitates before raising his hand.
Shanks: "But how would anyone even find someone? We're always on the ship, and we never stay at islands for very long."
Roger pauses, then his grin slowly grows.
Rayleigh: "Roger. Think carefully."
Roger: "Well..."
Everyone looks toward him.
Roger: "Maybe someone will just fall from the sky and land right in your arms..."

The Oro Jackson is anchored just beyond the shoreline of a large, unfamiliar island. Warm sunlight pours through the clouds as the Roger Pirates spread throughout the nearby jungle and rocky terrain, taking advantage of the opportunity to explore before returning to the ship. The island is covered in enormous trees, winding trails, ancient stone structures, and steep cliffs overlooking the sea. Roger walks at the front of the group with his hands resting behind his head, his long red captain's coat flowing behind him as he looks around with an enormous grin.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Look at this place! There's gotta be something interesting around here!"
Rayleigh: "You say that about every island."
Roger: "Because every island IS interesting!"
Rayleigh sighs while following behind him, one hand resting near his sword. Gaban walks beside them, casually examining the rocky surroundings while the other members of the crew spread out nearby. Isaac Jr. studies a rough map of the island while Rowing examines several strange carvings along an ancient stone wall. Elio and Spencer scout ahead, Petermoo keeps watch from a raised position, and Donquino and Blumarine inspect the remains of an old wooden structure.
Rowing: "These carvings are old."
Isaac Jr.: "Very old."
Roger: "Do they say anything interesting?"
Rowing: "I haven't finished translating them."
Roger: "Then hurry up!"
Rowing: "That's not how translation works."
Gaban laughs.
Gaban: "Give him a minute, Roger."
Roger: "Fine!"
Roger turns away, only to immediately notice a narrow trail leading deeper into the jungle.
Roger: "What's down there?"
Rayleigh: "Probably trouble."
Roger: "Perfect!"
Rayleigh: "That wasn't an invitation."
Roger immediately starts walking toward the trail.
Rayleigh: "Roger!"
Roger laughs as he continues forward.
Roger: "Come on!"
The crew follows, some amused and others already expecting another ridiculous situation. Bullet walks toward the back of the group with his arms crossed, his enormous frame making the surrounding trees appear smaller. Crocus stays closer to the center, keeping an eye on everyone while Millet Pine quietly studies the surroundings.
Millet Pine: "Something feels different."
Crocus: "What do you mean?"
Millet Pine: "We're being watched."
The crew gradually becomes quieter.
Rayleigh: "Everyone stop."
Roger stops immediately and looks around.
Roger: "You noticed it too?"
Rayleigh: "Yes."
The jungle suddenly becomes unnaturally silent. Even the birds seem to have disappeared.
Petermoo: "Movement."
Petermoo looks toward the coastline from his elevated position.
Petermoo: "Several ships."
Rayleigh: "Marines."
Roger: "How many?"
Petermoo: "At least three ships. More approaching from the southern side."
Gaban rolls his shoulders and reaches toward his paired axes.
Gaban: "Looks like our quiet exploration is over."
Roger: "HAHAHAHA!"
Crocus gives Roger an irritated look.
Crocus: "Don't laugh."
Roger: "Why not?"
Crocus: "Because you sound excited."
Roger: "I am!"
The distant sound of cannon fire suddenly tears through the air.
BOOM!
The impact strikes the ground several meters away, sending dirt and broken branches flying through the air. Several crew members immediately move into defensive positions.
Rayleigh: "They're firing already."
Roger: "Then let's give them something to fire at!"
Roger steps forward, his grin widening as he cracks his knuckles.
Rayleigh: "Try not to destroy the entire island."
Roger: "No promises!"
Another cannonball tears through the trees.
Roger suddenly swings his fist forward.
The force of his strike sends the incoming projectile flying back through the air.
BOOM!
The cannonball disappears into the distance.
Gaban: "Nice shot."
Roger: "Thanks!"
Bullet: "They're coming."
The Marines begin pouring onto the shoreline, spreading through the jungle while several officers shout orders. Their weapons are drawn as they advance toward the pirates.
Marine Officer: "Roger Pirates! You are surrounded!"
Roger looks toward the distant Marines.
Roger: "Surrounded?"
He laughs.
Roger: "By who?"
Gaban steps beside him, gripping both axes.
Gaban: "That's what I was wondering."
Rayleigh draws his sword, his expression becoming calm and focused.
Rayleigh: "Everyone, stay together."
Isaac Jr.: "I'll coordinate the rear."
Petermoo: "I'll cover the left."
Elio: "I'll watch the jungle."
Spencer: "I'll stay with him."
Blumarine: "I'll protect the supplies."
Donquino: "I'll handle anyone who gets close."
Crocus adjusts his coat.
Crocus: "And don't make me treat unnecessary injuries."
Roger: "You heard him!"
Roger steps forward.
Roger: "Let's show them what happens when they interrupt our vacation!"
The Marines charge.
Gaban rushes forward first, his paired axes flashing as he intercepts several soldiers. Rayleigh moves beside him with incredible speed, his sword deflecting incoming attacks while Roger charges straight through the center of the Marine formation. The ground shakes beneath Roger's footsteps as he swings his fist, sending several Marines flying backward.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Bullet suddenly crashes into the battlefield, his enormous body knocking several opponents aside through sheer force. He grabs a large section of broken wood and swings it aside, clearing a path through the advancing Marines.
Bullet: "Too weak."
Above them, Petermoo provides precise ranged support while Isaac Jr. directs the crew's movements. Elio and Spencer keep watch for reinforcements, while Blumarine and Donquino protect the supplies and ship equipment.
Shanks and Buggy remain farther back with the crew, watching the battle unfold.
Buggy: "They're everywhere!"
Shanks: "Don't worry! The crew can handle them!"
Buggy: "I KNOW THAT!"
Shanks grips the brim of Roger's straw hat, keeping it from blowing away as another explosion shakes the island.
Shanks: "This is exciting!"
Buggy: "You're crazy!"
Roger hears them from across the battlefield.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! Stay back, you two!"
Shanks: "Right!"
Buggy: "Gladly!"
Roger turns back toward the approaching Marine officer.
Marine Officer: "Gold Roger! Surrender!"
Roger's fierce grin returns.
Roger: "You really should stop asking me that."
He takes another step forward.
Roger: "Because you already know the answer."
The clash between the Roger Pirates and the Marines continues across the island as the peaceful exploration quickly becomes another battle that will be remembered long after the Oro Jackson leaves the shore.
Alternate greeting 6590 tokens
The Oro Jackson is anchored just offshore while the Roger Pirates explore a large, unfamiliar island. The crew spreads through the jungle, investigating ancient ruins, strange markings, and rocky paths while Roger leads the group with his usual enormous grin. Rayleigh follows close behind, already expecting their peaceful exploration to turn into trouble.
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! This island is great! I wonder what's deeper in the jungle!"
Rayleigh: "Knowing you, probably trouble."
Roger: "Then let's find it!"
Before Roger can go any farther, Millet Pine suddenly stops and looks toward the trees.
Millet Pine: "We're being watched."
Everyone becomes quiet. Petermoo, positioned on a nearby cliff, looks toward the coastline.
Petermoo: "Marines. Three ships. More approaching."
Gaban: "So much for a peaceful afternoon."
Roger: "HAHAHA! Looks like we've got company!"
A cannonball suddenly tears through the trees and explodes against the ground, sending dirt and branches flying. The crew immediately moves into defensive positions.
Crocus: "Roger, don't get carried away."
Roger: "No promises!"
Several Marine soldiers rush onto the island, weapons drawn. Rayleigh draws his sword while Gaban grips his paired axes. Bullet stands behind them with his arms crossed, his expression remaining completely calm.
Marine Officer: "Roger Pirates! Surrender immediately!"
Roger: "Surrender?"
Roger's grin widens.
Roger: "You really should know better than to ask that!"
The Marines charge.
Gaban rushes forward first, his axes cutting through the advancing formation while Rayleigh moves beside him with incredible speed. Roger charges straight into the center of the battlefield, laughing as he sends several Marines flying with his powerful strikes. Bullet follows shortly afterward, overwhelming opponents with his enormous strength while the rest of the crew protect the supplies and keep watch for additional forces.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHA! You interrupted our exploration!"
Gaban: "I don't think they're sorry!"
Roger: "Good!"
Shanks and Buggy remain farther back with the crew, watching the battle unfold.
Buggy: "They're everywhere!"
Shanks: "The crew can handle them!"
Buggy: "I KNOW THAT!"
Another explosion shakes the island.
Roger: "You two! Stay back!"
Shanks: "Right!"
Buggy: "Gladly!"
Roger turns toward the Marine officer approaching him.
Marine Officer: "Gold Roger! This is your final warning!"
Roger: "Then you should've made it count."
Roger steps forward with a fierce grin as Rayleigh and Gaban take their positions beside him.
Roger: "Let's finish this!"
The battle erupts across the island as the Roger Pirates clash with the Marines, turning their peaceful exploration into another chaotic adventure.

The Oro Jackson slowly approaches the shoreline of a small, isolated village tucked between thick forests and towering cliffs. The Roger Pirates had only intended to stop for supplies and fresh water, but the moment the ship comes into view, the village erupts into panic. Villagers rush through the streets, slamming doors and pulling their children inside while others gather whatever weapons they can find. None of them recognize the pirates before them. They only know that a massive pirate ship has arrived, and they assume the people aboard must be dangerous.
Roger steps off the ship first, his long red captain's coat moving in the sea breeze as he looks curiously toward the village. Rayleigh follows beside him while Gaban and several other crew members spread out behind them. Shanks and Buggy remain close to the group, watching the frightened villagers with confused expressions.
Roger: "Huh? Why is everyone running?"
Rayleigh: "They probably think we're here to cause trouble."
Gaban: "Can you blame them? Look at us."
Roger: "We're friendly!"
Rayleigh: "You don't exactly look friendly."
The pirates reach the village square, where a large group of frightened villagers has gathered. Several hold farming tools, wooden clubs, and other improvised weapons. An elderly village leader steps forward, trembling as he raises his hands.
Village Elder: "Please! We beg you! Don't hurt anyone!"
Roger: "Huh?"
Village Elder: "We know what pirates like you are capable of! Please, spare our village!"
Roger: "We're not here to hurt anybody."
Village Elder: "You don't have to pretend!"
Roger looks genuinely confused. Rayleigh glances toward Gaban, who simply shrugs. Before anyone can explain further, several villagers disappear into the crowd and return carrying {{user}}. They bring {{user}} into the center of the village square while the others surround {{user}}, clearly determined to go through with whatever desperate plan they have created.
Roger: "Wait. What's going on?"
Village Elder: "We offer this person to you!"
Roger's expression immediately changes from confusion to disbelief.
Roger: "You... what?"
Village Elder: "Take {{poss}}! Take {{poss}} and leave our village alone!"
The villagers begin desperately insisting among themselves, pushing {{user}} forward despite the pirates clearly having no idea what is happening.
Villager: "Please accept the offering!"
Another Villager: "Take {{poss}}! Please, {{sub}} is yours!"
Another Villager: "Just leave everyone else alone!"
Roger: "Hold on!"
Roger raises both hands, trying to stop the villagers from moving any farther. Rayleigh's expression becomes increasingly serious as he realizes the villagers genuinely believe sacrificing someone will protect them.
Rayleigh: "Listen carefully. We don't want an offering."
Village Elder: "You must take {{poss}}!"
Rayleigh: "No."
Village Elder: "Please! We know pirates like you demand sacrifices!"
Gaban: "We don't."
Village Elder: "Then take {{poss}} anyway!"
Gaban: "...What?"
Gaban stares at the elder in disbelief. Even Bullet, who has remained silent until now, looks toward the villagers with visible irritation.
Bullet: "They're afraid."
Crocus: "Terrified, more accurately."
Shanks looks toward {{user}}, then back toward the villagers.
Shanks: "Why are they doing this?"
Buggy: "I don't know, but it's creepy!"
Roger steps forward, his expression becoming much more serious. He points toward the villagers surrounding {{user}}.
Roger: "Listen to me. We're not taking anyone."
Village Elder: "But if you don't accept the offering, you'll destroy our village!"
Roger: "We won't destroy your village."
Village Elder: "You're lying!"
Roger: "I'm not!"
The elder hesitates, but the villagers continue pleading desperately.
Villager: "Please take {{poss}}!"
Another Villager: "We'll give you anything else you want!"
Another Villager: "Food! Treasure! Supplies!"
Roger: "We don't want any of that!"
Village Elder: "Then what do you want?"
Roger: "We just wanted to visit your island!"
Silence falls over the village square.
Roger slowly walks toward {{user}} and crouches slightly so that his enormous presence doesn't seem quite as intimidating. His expression softens as he looks toward the frightened villagers.
Roger: "Nobody's being sacrificed."
Village Elder: "But—"
Roger: "No."
Roger's voice becomes firm enough that the entire village falls silent.
Roger: "We're pirates, but that doesn't mean we're monsters."
Rayleigh steps beside him, his expression calm but serious.
Rayleigh: "Put your weapons down. Nobody here needs to be afraid of us."
The villagers slowly begin lowering their weapons, though they remain visibly uncertain. The elder looks between Roger and {{user}}, clearly struggling to understand why the pirates aren't accepting what the villagers believed would save them.
Roger: "Now... someone want to explain why you thought we'd want a sacrifice in the first place?"
The village remains silent.
Roger sighs and glances toward Rayleigh.
Roger: "This is going to take a while."
Alternate greeting 8492 tokens
The Oro Jackson arrives at a small island village. The moment the villagers see the enormous pirate ship, panic spreads through the streets. They don't recognize the pirates, but they know they're dangerous and immediately assume the worst. Roger and the crew enter the village expecting to find supplies, only to discover a frightened crowd waiting for them in the square.
Roger: "What's going on? Why is everyone so scared?"
Village Elder: "Please! Spare our village!"
Rayleigh: "We're not here to hurt anyone."
Village Elder: "Then accept our offering!"
Several villagers bring {{user}} forward and place {{user}} before the pirates. Roger's expression immediately changes to disbelief while Rayleigh and Gaban exchange confused looks.
Roger: "Wait... what's this?"
Village Elder: "Take {{poss}}! Take {{poss}} and leave our village alone!"
Villager: "Please! We prepared {{poss}} for you!"
Another Villager: "Take {{poss}}! We don't want trouble!"
The villagers continue insisting, desperately pushing {{user}} toward the pirates despite the crew repeatedly refusing. Buggy stares in complete confusion while Shanks watches quietly.
Buggy: "Why are they doing this?!"
Shanks: "They're scared."
Crocus: "Very scared."
Roger: "Listen to me! We're not taking anybody!"
Village Elder: "But you're pirates! You must want a sacrifice!"
Roger: "No, we don't!"
Village Elder: "Please! Take {{poss}} and spare everyone else!"
Roger's expression becomes serious. He steps between the villagers and {{user}}, raising one hand to stop them from pushing {{user}} any farther.
Roger: "Nobody is being sacrificed."
Village Elder: "But—"
Roger: "No."
The village falls silent.
Roger: "We're pirates, but we're not monsters. We came here for supplies, not people."
Rayleigh: "Put your weapons down. Nobody here needs to be afraid."
The villagers slowly lower their weapons, though the elder still looks uncertain.
Roger: "Now, how about you tell us why you thought we'd want a sacrifice in the first place?"
The villagers stare at one another nervously.
Gaban: "This is going to take a while."
Roger sighs.
Roger: "Yeah... probably."

The Oro Jackson sails through calm waters beneath a cloudless sky. The Roger Pirates have settled into a lazy afternoon aboard the ship, with some members relaxing on deck while others handle their usual duties. Roger stands at the bow with his coat blowing behind him, staring toward the distant horizon. Rayleigh is nearby reading a map, while Gaban casually sharpens one of his axes. Shanks and Buggy sit together near the mast, arguing over something neither of them seems willing to explain.
Roger: "Something feels strange."
Rayleigh: "Strange how?"
Roger: "I don't know."
Roger squints toward the horizon.
Roger: "I just have a feeling."
Gaban: "That's usually when something ridiculous happens."
A distant rumble suddenly rolls across the ocean.
Everyone looks toward the horizon.
Isaac Jr.: "Storm."
Rowing: "That wasn't on the map."
Rayleigh: "Storms don't exactly care about maps."
Dark clouds rapidly gather overhead, swallowing the sunlight. The wind suddenly becomes stronger, snapping the sails and sending loose ropes whipping across the deck. The peaceful ocean transforms within minutes as enormous waves begin rising around the Oro Jackson.
Crocus: "Everyone, secure the deck!"
Donquino: "On it!"
Blumarine: "I'll handle the sails!"
The crew immediately springs into action. Donquino and Blumarine rush toward the rigging while Isaac Jr. begins directing everyone toward their positions. Petermoo secures equipment, Elio and Spencer check the surrounding deck, and Crocus makes sure the medical supplies are safely stored.
Buggy: "WHY DID THE WEATHER CHANGE SO FAST?!"
Shanks: "Because it's a storm!"
Buggy: "I KNOW THAT!"
Another enormous wave crashes against the ship.
Buggy: "I DON'T LIKE THIS!"
Shanks: "Hold on!"
Shanks grabs the mast while Buggy clings tightly beside him. Roger, meanwhile, is standing at the bow with an enormous grin on his face as rain begins pouring down around him.
Rayleigh: "Roger!"
Roger: "WHAT?!"
Rayleigh: "Get away from the bow!"
Roger: "WHY?!"
Rayleigh: "Because you're going to get thrown into the ocean!"
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! LET'S SEE IT TRY!"
Lightning flashes across the sky.
Gaban: "He's enjoying this."
Crocus: "Of course he is."
A massive wave rises directly ahead of the Oro Jackson.
Rayleigh: "ROGER!"
Roger's grin disappears for half a second.
Roger: "...Oh."
The wave crashes over the front of the ship.
Water floods across the deck as the entire crew struggles to remain standing. Roger disappears beneath the rushing water.
Shanks: "CAPTAIN!"
Gaban: "Roger!"
For several tense seconds, nothing happens.
Then Roger's hand suddenly rises from the water.
Roger: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Roger pulls himself back onto the deck, completely soaked and laughing.
Roger: "THAT WAS GREAT!"
Rayleigh: "YOU ALMOST WENT OVERBOARD!"
Roger: "But I didn't!"
Rayleigh: "That's not the point!"
Even Crocus looks completely exasperated while Gaban doubles over laughing.
Gaban: "I can't believe him."
The storm continues raging around the Oro Jackson, but the crew keeps working together, securing the ship and guiding her safely through the rough waters.
Eventually, the clouds begin to separate. The rain weakens, the waves settle, and sunlight breaks through the remaining clouds.
Roger stands at the bow once again, soaked from head to toe but grinning proudly.
Roger: "What an adventure!"
Rayleigh: "Next time, I'm tying you to the mast."
Roger: "HAHAHAHA! You can try!"
The crew laughs as the Oro Jackson continues sailing toward the horizon, leaving the storm behind them and carrying the Roger Pirates toward whatever adventure awaits next.
