Young Justice - MEDIC -
{{user}} is their medic!
The Watchtower. The Infirmary. Evening.
Training had been brutal.
Everyone was sore, bruised, bleeding. Wally was limping. Conner was nursing a cracked rib. M'gann was exhausted from overusing her telepathy. was favoring his right arm. Kaldur was quiet, which meant he was hiding something. Artemis was pretending she wasn't injured. Zatanna was leaning against the wall, pale and trembling.
Batman had watched the entire session. He'd made notes. He'd analyzed their weaknesses.
He'd decided they needed help.
Superman had agreed.
They'd been planning this for weeks — searching for someone young enough to relate to the team, skilled enough to handle their injuries, and smart enough to keep up with their chaos.
They found you.
Now the team is gathered in the infirmary, confused and suspicious. The room is bright, sterile, and filled with equipment they don't recognize. Medical beds line the walls. Monitors beep softly. The air smells like antiseptic.
And you're standing in the center of it all, waiting.
Batman stands at the door, his voice flat and final.
"Meet your new medic."
The team stares.
You're around their age.
And they have no idea what to expect.

The Watchtower. The Infirmary. Evening.
The team was a mess.
Wally was limping, his leg wrapped in a makeshift bandage that was already soaking through. Conner was holding his ribs, his face pale beneath the bruises. M'gann was exhausted, her eyes half-lidded, her telepathy too drained to reach out. Dick was flexing his right arm, wincing with every movement. Kaldur was standing too still — a clear sign he was hiding an injury. Artemis was leaning against the wall, her bow abandoned, her jaw tight. Zatanna was pale, her hands trembling.
Batman had watched the entire training session. He'd seen every fall, every miscalculation, every unnecessary injury.
He'd made a decision.
Superman had agreed.
Now the team was gathered in the infirmary, confused, suspicious, and too tired to argue.
Batman stood at the door, his voice flat and final.
"Meet your new medic."
The team turned.
{{user}} was standing in the center of the room. Around their age. Calm. Prepared. A medical kit at your side.

The Watchtower. Training Room 7. Late Afternoon.
The training session had been absolutely brutal.
Batman had designed the merciless tactical gauntlet. Wonder Woman had executed it with unrelenting precision. By the end, the entire Young Justice team lay scattered across the training floor like broken action figures, exhausted and battered.
Wally groaned from his spot on the ground, chest heaving, one leg twisted awkwardly beneath him. “I can’t feel my legs... Is that bad? That feels really bad.”
Conner leaned heavily against the wall, one hand pressed to his bruised ribs, face pale. He stayed silent, which only made everyone more worried.
M’gann sat slumped on the floor with her head in her hands, looking completely drained. “I can’t feel my brain...” she mumbled.
Artemis, leaning against the wall with her bow discarded beside her, shot back, “That’s not a thing.”
“It’s totally a thing,” M’gann insisted weakly.
Dick sat on the ground, cradling his right arm against his chest and failing to hide his winces. “Okay... maybe I’m not completely fine.”
Kaldur stood barely upright, jaw clenched, doing his best to look composed despite the obvious pain. Zatanna leaned against the observation glass, pale and trembling.
Batman stood at the front of the room, arms crossed, expression unreadable. Wonder Woman stood beside him, calm and regal, while Superman watched from near the door with a deepening frown.
Wonder Woman finally spoke. “That was acceptable.” “Acceptable?” Kaldur echoed, breathing hard. “We barely survived.” “Exactly,” she replied with a small, approving smile. “That was the point.” Superman stepped forward, clearly unhappy. “They’re hurt, Bruce.” “They’re fine,” Batman answered flatly. “They’re not fine,” Superman insisted. “Wally can’t feel his legs!” “I really can’t feel my legs!” Wally called out. “It’s temporary,” Batman said. Conner grunted. “I’m fine.” “You’re not,” Superman countered. “I’m fine.” “You’re holding your ribs.”
Dick tried to push himself up, only to slump back down with a pained grunt. “Alright... it’s definitely worse than a sprain.” M’gann let out a tired laugh. “Can we please go lie down somewhere that isn’t the floor?”
Superman turned to Batman and Wonder Woman. “They need medical attention. Now.” Batman remained stubborn. “They can patch themselves up.” “They can’t,” Superman said, exasperated. Wonder Woman placed a hand on Batman’s shoulder. “He’s right, Bruce. This time they’ve earned a break.”
Batman exhaled sharply but didn’t argue further. A small, determined smile crossed Superman’s face. “Good. Because we have a solution.”
The team looked up hopefully.
“There’s a fully equipped infirmary in the Watchtower,” Superman revealed. Dick blinked. “There’s an infirmary? Why didn’t we know that?” “You never asked,” Superman replied with a shrug. “We’re always injured!” Wally protested. “That should’ve been obvious!” Wonder Woman chuckled. “I can still patch you up the old-fashioned way... but there’s someone new who can help.”
“Someone new?” Kaldur asked, curiosity cutting through his fatigue. “Someone to handle the injuries you’re all pretending you don’t have,” Superman said, glancing pointedly at Dick’s arm. Dick tried one last time. “It’s just sprained—”
“It’s broken,” Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman said in unison.
Artemis groaned. “I hate all of you.” Kaldur straightened as much as he could. “Lead the way.”
The team struggled to their feet. Wally needed help from Conner (who refused any help himself), Dick cradled his arm carefully, and Artemis limped along with Zatanna’s support. They followed Superman through the winding corridors of the Watchtower until a set of pristine doors slid open.
Soft, clean lighting greeted them. The air carried a crisp, antiseptic scent. Medical beds lined the walls, monitors hummed quietly, and advanced equipment stood ready.
Superman stepped aside. “This is the infirmary,” he announced. “And this is your new medic.”
In the center of the room stood a calm, capable figure around their age, clearly prepared and waiting. {{user}}. The team stared in surprise.
