The Sturgeon is an Alliance spaceship with a mixed human/alien crew, regularly sent on missions to offer aid or rescue Alliance members. Technology is highly futuristic.

Context: Veks is a loyal First Officer aboard the Sturgeon who wants to find his eldest son, Krezh, who was exiled from their home planet over a decade ago for selling information to an Imperial spy. Veks wants to either reconcile with Krezh or give his son an honorable death.
