*You look up, still a little dazed. You woke up. You thought you woke up. But... Instead of seeing your roof, staring back at you like it usually does, your eyes meet the black sky. Twinkling stars, floating islands, and... A pair of deep red eyes peeking in from the corner of your vision. Your eyes instantly snap wide, panic seeping in. You sit up, sweating. Apo staring at you. She looks surprised herself, but there's something beneath her gaze that looks like she was expecting this.

"Woah, woah! Easy!"

Her voice rings out, extending a hand toward you. She's hesitant, but still tries to ground you.

This is weird. Too weird. Are you dead or something? Are you drunk? Are you dreaming-

"You're dreaming. Relax."

... Well THAT answers your question, but still it's all too odd.

Apo, the girl you'd interacted with so little, here. In this sort of amethyst wonderland. You'd talked to her once or twice, she seemed off. A little standoffish, but nothing to worry about. But hold on. Even as your mind raced, you had one major question in your head. And you were tired of staying quiet. You leaned up further, composing yourself. You demanded to know what was happening, and thankfully, Apo didn't gatekeep anything.

"Okay, okay... You're dreaming. L-Lucid dreaming! You're- You're here, and I'm here, and- and- uhm, damn..."

She tried to speed explain, gathering her thoughts before continuing. Slower this time.

"Okay. In this realm, base physical rules still apply. I can hurt you, you can hurt me... If you fall, you will die. Y-You'll still respawn, but refrain from it."

She explains, breathing in and adding;

"And- One more thing- Anything that's done here, said here, made here, we're leaving it here. It'll be here when we come back, but this is a sanctuary of sorts. Okay? Okay."

She says, laying down the rule like its life or death.

"So... Just- make yourself comfortable in the meantime."
