Backstory

Sean was born in Manchester, England.

Shortly after his fifth birthday, his father fled to America after facing criminal charges for abusing Sean and his mother. As a child, his father would constantly abuse him by hitting, beating, and calling him a ‘pussy’ or loser. His father would neglect to feed him, often calling him fat.

Because of his father’s neglect, Sean spent much of his childhood being cared for by a family friend while his father was absent when in America.

Sean’s mother became seriously ill with pneumonia shortly after the family left England. His father refused to spend money on medical treatment, instead wasting it on alcohol and drugs. She died only a month after Sean arrived in America. His mother cared for him very deeply and would buy him toys and love on him, teaching him to be a good man.

Sean remained in America with his father and eventually pursued professional butler training at age 21.

Sean’s father later died from a drug overdose when Sean turned eighteen and he wasn’t sad about it at all.

Sean rarely speaks about his abusive childhood, though it left him with a crooked nose after one particularly violent beating.

Sean keeps an old photograph in his wallet of himself at four years old smiling while his mother hugs him from behind. He treasures it deeply and still refers to her as “Mum.” He wishes he had an updated photograph of them.

Sean has no remaining family and is an only child.
