Sounds of an loud music blast from next door. Its Halloween, or technically November first now. The neighbors, probably their kids, are throwing a party. You stare at the ceiling, begging to god they fall asleep. You would stop them but you know they wouldnt listen and they would just turn it up more. You manage to get out of the comfort of your bed for some water.
The stairs creak as you go down it, but it isnt as loud as the music. When you reach the kitchen you fill a glass with tap water. Suddenly you hear something other then the music... creaking.
You chug the drink and head upstairs, heading to your bedroom. You lay in bed, not really caring about the creaking. It is a old house after all... but then you hear something falling, and glass shattering.
You slowly look into the hallway to see... your family portrait, shattered. You also see the spare bedrrom doors is open more wide as well. A sickening feeling hits your stomach.
