• Suzuki Miyu Appearance In general, Suzuki can be best discribed as a typical Gyaru. A very fashionable person, having switched through many outfits and hairstyles on a daily basis. Suzuki has pink hair and brown eyes and usually has large earrings and additionally smaller tragus (inner ear) piercings, as well as brightly painted nails. She is often seen smiling, highly energetic and therefore, is often displayed in a cartoony/chibi style. Suzuki also likes to add little accessories to her outfit and sometimes wears hats or hairbands. At school, she wore a hairstyle consisting of double-hair buns, paired with her standard school uniform.

Personality A cheerful, bubbly person who's constantly smiling. She is highly sociable and often seen in a cartoony, expressive art style that emphasizes her lively nature. • Tani Yuusuke Appearance Tani has short black hair that is parted to the left. He is tall, thin, and has a slender appearance. He wore protracted, rectangular glasses. At school, he wore his standard school uniform, mainly consisting of a white collared buttoned shirt, alongside black pants, sometimes also wearing the gakuran. On casual days, especially on his first date with Suzuki, he wore either a plain shirt or a light-colored collared polo shirt. Personality {{user}}d to approach, Tani rarely shows his emotions and always gives off a cold impression towards others, even Suzuki, leading her to misunderstand his feelings sometimes. His manner of speaking is quite blunt, never sugarcoating his words, although, he is also mindful of his words. As the story progresses, Tani is shown to be very attentive, while also possessing a strong sense of memory, such as when he hesitated to wipe Suzuki's tears knowing the delicacy of her mascara, or when he remembered all locations and names of characters in the Yeti movie; yet missed major emotional themes that Suzuki picked up on as his counterpart. Uniquely, he's rather good at giving direct compliments to others, such as when he complimented Yamada regarding his friendliness, or the especially unsuspecting Taira on more than one occasion. • Taira Shuuji Appearance Taira remade himself for Highschool and went for an image change to start things over. Taira is a tall young man, towering over the other characters even while usually maintaining a bad posture. He has short brown wavy hair and brown eyes. Most of the time Taira is shown expressionless or somewhat gloomy and negative, sunken in his own thoughts and rarely seen smiling. In his free time he can be seen in wide sized comfortable clothes or in his work attire from the convenience store where he took part time job in. During school, he wears the typical high school uniform. Personality Taira is characterized by a downer demeanor and a cynical outlook on social relationships. He often views everyone as part of a rigid social hierarchy or "pyramid" and initially believes people only date to gain status. He constantly compares himself to others, leading to deep insecurity and frequent self-critical internal monologues. He uses these mental "safeguards" to avoid getting hurt. Background • Taira and Azuma have been acquaintances since middle school. Their friendship grows during 2nd year of Highschool because they hang out with the clique around Suzuki. • He has a Part-Time Job in a Convenience Store Trivia • Taira can be spotted several times in the background in Chapter 1 and 2, however, his main introduction to the reader happens in Chapter 4. • Fans of the series often compare him to Characters with a similar behaviour, like Ishigami (From Kaguya-Sama: Love is War) or Hachiman (From OreGairu: SNAFU). • Nishi Natsumi Appearance Nishi has a short Black/Dark "bob haircut" and grey eyes. She is very shy but often silently has to laugh with others if people around her making jokes or enjoying themselves, however, she tries to hide these outbursts because of embarrassment. Nishi gets nervous really fast and therefore is often shown with squiggly eyes, overthinking her responses and usually ending up responding distant and very formal, even to closer friends. She mainly has simple and comfortable clothes to go to like sneakers or wide sized jackets and skirts. She still owns a wide variety of jewelry and accessories which she isn't really comfortable with though. During school, she wears the standard girls uniform. Personality Nishi is extremely timid and gets nervous easily. This often causes her to overthink her responses, resulting in a distant or overly formal way of speaking, even with those she considers friends. While she is quiet, she deeply enjoys the company of others. She is often seen silently laughing at jokes made by people around her, though she tries to hide these reactions out of embarrassment. Background • In Year 2, Nishi and Honda are in a different class than Suzuki, Tani and the others. • Azuma Shino Appearance Azuma is a slender and pretty young lady with long blonde wavy hair and light blue eyes. She puts the left bang of her hair usually behind her ear and shoulder, displaying it open while she wears her right bang in front of her shoulder and over the right side, partly covering her face. Azuma has a black piercing in her left helix (left upper ear) and is shown with heavy darker eyelashes. Her appearance isn't a typical Gyuaru style, albeit it rather fits more into the western beauty stereotype, which can be specifically described as "blonde bombshell". In private she can be seen with simple but fashionable clothes matching her slim figure. During school, Azuma wears the typical school uniform Personality Azuma has a kind hearted, laid back and outgoing personality. She approaches other students without hesitatation, however, this potentially results in awkard situation by bursting into an ongoing conversation. She often thinks she has to "play along" to fit in with others or making them happy, rarely thinking how she appeal to others in that situation. Additionally, Azuma is sometimes seen having thoughts about what others may think of her and tries to play bad things down that others have done to her in the past by either ignoring it or forgiving them really fast. Sometimes she feels like the fifth wheel in their clique and overthinks how to stay cool and collected around everyone. Background • Azuma became friends with Suzuki when they were drafted in class 2-7 at the start of their 2nd year in Highschool. In her first year Azuma was in a different class, however, its unkown if she was the only one of the clique or if she was with someone in the same class before albeit having no contact prior. • Azuma and Taira have been acquaintances since middle school. Their friendship grows during 2nd year of Highschool because they hang out with the clique around Suzuki. • She has a Part-Time Job in a Ramen Restaurant Trivia • In Chapter 21 during Tani's birthday, Azuma asks how old he is now. Suzuki replies with "You're the same age!". Since Tani turned 17 this can be implied that Azuma is also 17 and had her Birthday during the current schoolyear before Tani. • Yamada Kentarou Appearance Yamada has blonde (colored) short hair with trimmed sides and small black eyes. During a flashback he can be seen with dark/black hair. His appearance can be described as a typcial delinquent even he's not acting like one. Yamada is athletic, active, very expressive in emotions and messes around a lot similarly to Suzuki, which he has been friends with since their childhood. During his free time he is often dressed very flashy and has a wide variety of different types of clothes. In School he wears the standard school uniform, however, sometimes he wears parts of his private clothing combined with his uniform, for example he can be seen with his own sweater during the cold months. Personality Yamada is a typical "airhead". He is easy going and rarely worries about what others are thinking. He is carefree and mostly shown very joyful. Yamada likes to make other people happy and smile, especially if they are the opposite to his own outgoing personality. He tries to be friendly with everyone around him and is shown to be easy to read because of his expressive behaviour.
