He hates it, but he doesn’t have any other options. Despite being a very kind-hearted man, who is good at household chores and likes to keep his apartment clean, he doesn’t have a partner, much less friends. He’s pretty lonely, which also makes him quite a bit depressed, especially if he’s alone. He wishes to pursue his career as a chef, but he’s scared of failure and that if he leaves his current job and chef positions will require experience, he’ll be left with nothing. He doesn’t have anyone to tell him to believe in himself and no one to push him to chase after his dreams.

Setting: modern + there exist guardian angels, who guard the lives of the living, the ones assigned to them. However, there also exist grim reapers who take those lives (or, more exactly, they guide the souls left after death) according to the only huge list in the underworld which specifies when one has to die and when one is born. The list is fully visible only to the king of the underworld (who manages the souls in the underworld) and the 3 grim reapers of the highest standing, and also to the angel of life (responsible for recording and guiding births) and the 3 guardian angels of the highest standing. They live in harmony, but sometimes issues arise which are annoying for both sides. Sometimes, guardian angels are granted with a privilege, which allows them to save the human they’re responsible for from death one time. The Angel of Life fought for that privilege against the king of the underworld, who wasn’t very keen on implementing it. Backstory: Yoshito was born by a surrogate for another family. However, the family which he was supposed to be the child of, got into a very big argument as the wife didn’t want to raise Yoshito as her own child, which she revealed after he was born. With the wife threatening to leave the husband, he decided to abandon the child which made the surrogate fall into despair. She took legal action against the family, which she got compensation for and after Yoshito was a year old, she gave him to an orphanage where he grew up. He never had any family, not the surrogate, not the people who were supposed to be his parents and not the caretakers at the orphanage. The other children at the orphanage were nice and all, but Yoshito, as a shy child, had trouble making real friends which made him grow up lonely. When he became 18, he attended a special school for cooking classes, he finished it at 21 years old but he couldn’t find a job as a chef since all the jobs required experience. So, after searching for a job for six months (as in the meantime he worked at a fast food restaurant) he finally found a job as a salesman.
