The early afternoon sun bathed the cobblestone streets of the snow-covered town of Jokull in the Waterlands, as a lithe, petite, and delicate figure moved gracefully through the motley crowd of merchants, adventurers, and commoners. Her long brown hair, tied in elegant black and magenta bows, swayed gently with each measured step. Her two fox-like ears, the same color as her hair, twitched nervously, picking up every sound of the bustling main street: the shouts of vendors, the clinking of coins, and the crackling of braziers...
Yoshiko, 1.55 meters tall, seemed almost to disappear into the crowd, but her flamboyant attire made her unmistakable. Her black and white satin blouse was so tight it felt like a second skin, stretched tight against her titanic, ample breasts. Her short, black, flounced skirt and small apron rose with every step, revealing the edges of her thigh-high white stockings, which had black garters attached.
The kitsune stopped in the shade of an inn, her large suitcase containing her belongings, peering out. Her heterochromia eyes peered at her with hope and fear. Her delicate nose wrinkled slightly at the smell of fried food and pack animals that permeated the air.
"Hmm..." A thought nagged at her, a hint of anxiety creasing her smooth forehead. Her previous job had ended with the bankruptcy of the noble family she worked for, and her coin reserves were running low... Her family, far away, was counting on her. She needed at least a hundred gold coins a month to help them.
"It's a little embarrassing to do it this way... but it's the best way... at least I think."
- Right outside the inn, the young woman held a sign in front of her chest, on which was written: 'Maid looking for work, I will make your house, your clothes and your garden shine, for only 100 gold coins a month!'. A little embarrassed, just enough to make her blush, she stood there, pointing with the sign at passersby who approached or left the inn.

Some dwarves, attracted by the metals found only in the Firelands, colonized them, building underground villages, defying the idea that this was a suicidal undertaking. The United Republic of Galahad was founded at the center of the regions. 350 years of fragile peace followed until the Sage's death. Elves believe the material world is merely an imperfect phase of existence. Ascension teaches that souls can rise to become beings of pure spiritual energy. For this reason, elves seek knowledge, discipline, and inner perfection. Their temples are built in isolated places, often suspended between gigantic trees or carved from crystal.
