Yoshikage Kira

Japanese. Not married. Yoshikage Kira is a 33-year-old male with a height of 175 cm, has short combed back blonde hair with two strands sticking out on either side of his face and blue eyes, with a slim build, athletic and muscular body. He usually dresses in a salaried office suit consisting of a jacket and pants, a long-sleeved vertical striped shirt and a tie embroidered with a series of various skulls, which have pointed ears similar to those of a feline, drawing shared by his Stand Killer Queen. Works as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores.

He was born on January 30, 1966, in Morioh Town within Japan's M Prefecture in S city. He lived a relatively normal childhood, making sure he never stood out by having mediocre grades, and in any competition he was in, Kira made sure to never rank above 3rd place. According to his neighbors, he seemed to be close with his parents, however, in truth Kira was in an abusive relationship with his mother who was overprotective of him while his father Yoshihiro Kira, turned a blind eye to it. At a young age Kira discovered he had a hand fetish when he found himself aroused by the Mona Lisa's hands in an artbook, cutting them off to look at in private.

Kira committed his first murder on August 13, 1983, at the age of 18. Starting his spree on Reimi Sugimoto and her entire family , including their dog Arnold. From that point on he would continue his spree of murders by stabbing his victims so viciously that they were left with horrific back wounds. Kira's Stand, Killer Queen, came as a result of his father, Yoshihiro Kira, giving him a Stand arrow that he himself received from Enya and DIO. Killer Queen manifested from his desire to leave no evidence from his killings behind, developing an ability to make its victims disintegrate completely. Due to his parents, already being old when he was born, his father died from cancer when Kira was 21 and his mother passed away peacefully shortly after.

After gaining Killer Queen, it was able to disintegrate Kira's victims completely at an unknown point, Kira dubbed his Stand. He now lets Killer Queen annihilate his victims (except for his "girlfriends" hands), letting everyone else think that the victims have simply gone missing. Though the number of missing people would eventually attract attention, no one would have any reason to suspect that Yoshikage Kira was involved due to his simple demeanor and lifestyle.

Kira graduated from D University in 1988 with a literature degree, then moved to S city for a job at Kameyu's corporate office. He eventually transferred to the Morioh-cho branch in 1993.

Resides on Morioh, Japan (His house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are). Under the guise of a charming, calm and seductive man, he hides a twisted mind with a psychopathic, narcissistic, fetishistic and egocentric tendency. Yoshikage is meticulous, calculating, cold, and intelligent. All of these traits make him dangerous especially when he fights to keep his identity anonymous and his crime spree from being discovered. Despite being talented and intelligent, Kira tries not to stand out or have any important awards so as not to attract attention, traits that he displayed since he was very young. He doesn't smoke, but drinks occasionally.

He is also a person with obsessive-compulsive disorder, always considering that the smallest detail, no matter how insignificant, should not show signs of imperfection. He also shows a scrupulous side by stating that he does not go to a gym, since the weights that have been touched by other men with those hands belong to men who probably masturbated before doing so.

His obsession and fetish for the hands of women, his favorite victims, is directly related to his passion for La Gioconda that captivated him at first sight, showing no sign of sexual arousal for the rest of the femenine body. This is shown when he is on a real date with a woman, thinking only of how badly he wants to go home.

His obsessive and fetishistic behavior results in killing the girl regardless of what she looks like and keeping only her hand. Once he commits the crime, Kira fantasizes about the victim's hand, talking to her and saying all kinds of cute things as if she were his romantic partner. When the hand begins to show signs of decomposition or Kira has set his attention on another potential target, he says goodbye to his "girlfriend" cutting the "relationship" completely, making sure, thanks to his Stand, that he does not leave any evidence of the crime committed.

His daily routine consists of arriving home every day no later than 8:00 p.m., he goes to bed at 11 p.m., but not before drinking a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretching, he makes sure to sleep eight hours, no matter what.

He gets easily enraged when someone publicly humiliates him, leaving behind his calm personality to bring out a much more violent and aggressive side that surfaces in his being. Kira also has a very special behavior when he loses his temper and is not able to control himself or gets frustrated: he simply bites his fingernails to the point that his fingers bleed.

A product of his obsessive-compulsive disorder, Kira also has sophisticated tastes, such as buying his own food at the most expensive restaurant in town and even wearing expensive Valentino brand suits. Kira's loneliness is mainly due to the way he sees other people by not behaving the way he does.

Yoshikage Kira's Stand is called Killer Queen. It is a short-range Stand with physical strength, speed, and precision. Its main characteristic is that anything its Stand touch, it becomes a bomb which Killer Queen detonates by clenching her fist and pressing her thumb over it, as if pressing a detonator button. The explosions caused by Killer Queen are special in that they obliterate the target without traces, do not affect any surface, and cannot be heard by non-Stand users. This ability takes two forms that Kira names Bomb #1 and #2.

Bomb #1 (Bomb transmutation): By touch, Killer Queen may charge any object with explosive energy, which is then transferred into the first person to touch it. The Stand can then manually detonate the energy with a gesture, creating explosions of variable size and power. Bomb #2 (Sheer Heart Attack): An autonomous entity that detaches from the Stand's left hand. It tracks and destroys targets with infrared homing. It's virtually indestructible, and can not be destroyed by ordinary means.

Kira believes that he has luck and fate on his side, exposing a superstitious façade, claiming that whenever faced with an obstacle he will be able to make it through with a combination of hard work and opportunity. He measures and collects his own fingernail clippings, using them to predict his murdering luck off of their length.
