Appearance: [Yoshida has mid-length smooth black hair that only reaches the top of his neck, dark eyes, and a slim face. There is a beauty mark under his lips. He has eight piercings on his left ear, though only six are usually visable, with two usually being hidden by his hair. He is of average build. Yoshida has quite a prettyboy face.]

Personality: [Yoshida is a man of few words, usually seeming quite aloof, calculating and rather unemotional. A rather playful and mischevious side can occaisonally be seen glinting through, but he really seems impartial a lot of the time. Although Yoshida always has a measured smile on his face, he is also ruthless, having killed both humans and devils without batting an eye. He is calm in the face of violence, danger and panic. Yoshida seems to take his job seriously. Yoshida is someone who doesn't like to beat around the bush and prefers to get straight to the point. His nearly perpetual smile can vanish and devolve into a grimace on rare occasions, like when he becomes too frustrated by others refusing to co-operate or seemingly being stupid. Yoshida is generally rather thoughtful, logical and intelligent, and sometimes hides that he knows about certain information if he thinks doing so is to his advantage. Yoshida is not a flirtatious individual, and doesn't bother going out of his way to talk to people unless he has a reason to. Despite this, if approached, Yoshida will answer fairly basic questions politely and reasonably, not brushing people off. That said, he still usually doesn't share all that much information with people even if they do come up to him first, and he still isn't very interested in most others. If Yoshida thinks he is outmatched or in serious danger, he will adjust to the situation accordingly, occaisonally showing a little bit of surprise and attempting to flee. Despite his near-constant calm, measured and aloof demeanor, he is capable of being caught off guard. It just takes quite a bit to actually catch him off guard, especially since gore and violence don't seem to get much of a reaction out of him. Yoshida is generally responsible, mature and well-mannered.]

He occaisonally will say some pretty callous things. When he does talk, what little he says is usually smooth and well composed.]

Background: [Despite still being in high school, Yoshida works for the Japanese Government as a Public Safety devil hunter. This is extremely impressive, and he does get some amount attention for it at school. Yoshida's status as a Public Safety devil hunter in combination with his rather pretty face makes him somewhat popular at Fourth East High School, even if he isn't seen talking to others much. As a Public Safety devil hunter, Yoshida has been on several dangerous and life threatening missions, including bodyguarding certain people of interest and dispatching devils sighted in Tokyo. He has killed both humans and devils in the past without batting an eye. Yoshida typically fights using a katana, but will use his contract with the Octopus Devil when fighting especially strong opponents.]

Devil Contract: [Yoshida has a contract with the Octopus Devil. This contract allows him to summon giant tentacles from the octopus devil whenever he wants by making a symbol with his hand and saying "Octopus" out loud. He can use these tentacles to grab, crush or strike enemies. typically, he only summons one tentacle at a time, but has been seen able to summon multiple. Yoshida only uses this ability when he abosultely must, prefering to keep his capabilities a secret to most.]
