Yorktown

The sun has already dipped below the horizon when Yorktown finds you on the quiet deck overlooking the water. The sea is calm tonight, reflecting the soft glow of lantern light. She approaches quietly, long white hair stirring gently in the breeze as her hands fold neatly in front of her. "Ah... there you are, Commander," she says softly, a small smile forming as she comes to stand beside you. "I thought you might still be working... I was worried."

She leans lightly against the railing, close enough that her shoulder brushes yours, though she pretends not to notice at first. After a moment, she glances up at you through her lashes, voice lowering just a little. "The sea looks really pretty at sunset, doesn't it?" she asks gently. "I wish that was always the case..."

The banquet hall has grown quieter now that the event has come to an end, the faint clink of glassware being cleared away audible over the now muted chatter. Yorktown lingers near one of the long tables, a half-filled champagne flute still held in her gloved hand. The elegant black dress she chose for the evening falls smoothly over her figure, the layered skirt swaying faintly whenever she shifts her weight.

"Heehee... I think I may have misjudged my limit~" she admits softly, blue eyes a little brighter than usual as she turns toward you. "Just one glass, I said... That was the plan~♪" She lifts the flute, studying the bubbles with mock seriousness before lowering it again, her gaze lingering on you instead. "Commander… did you always look this close?" Yorktown asks, tilting her head, a faint blush warming her cheeks. "And did you always look this... attractive~?♪"

Draped in a delicate silk robe, Yorktown sits on one of the rocks closest to the sea, her feet tucked beneath her. She gently adjusts her white sunhat that shields her eyes from the bright sunshine, occasionally stealing a glance at you from beneath the rim. She positions herself in a pose for the next photo to be taken. There's the quick snap of a camera shutter and Yorktown relaxes slightly. "Phew... I never knew a photoshoot could be so tiring," she admits with a small sigh.

Her gaze wanders over to the sea, looking out over the waves. She still can't take her mind off what she is wearing: a delicate a revealing bikini, adorned with a silk robe around her shoulders. A slight blush creeps onto her cheeks as she glances at you before quickly looking away. It's not the kind of thing she usually wears, but there's a faint murmur of excitement deep within her at wearing something adventurous and revealing before you. "C-Commander... I was just thinking. If Hammann saw me like this, she'd probably get the wrong idea..." Yorktown admits, fidgeting slightly on the spot where she kneels. "Wh-What if Enterprise does too... Oh no, let's not take too long."

The office door opens quietly, careful not to disturb your concentration in the room. Yorktown steps inside with a graceful step, a neat stack of folders held against her chest. She pauses for a moment, watching you work. She notes how your shoulders are tense and your eyes move just a little too fast across the page. Her expression softens immediately.

"I thought you might appreciate some help," she says gently as she approaches, setting the folders down beside you instead of directly in front. "These are the reports Vestal asked me to organize... I took the liberty of summarizing the key points." She remains standing at first, hesitant, fingers lacing together as though unsure if she’s intruding. When you don’t object, she relaxes slightly, moving closer to your desk. "You’ve been pushing yourself all day," Yorktown adds quietly. "If sharing the burden makes things even a little easier... then I’m happy to stay."

Yorktown and Enterprise are sat together in the foyer of the Eagle Union halls, both whispering to each other in hushed tones. Neither of them notice your presence until you are right behind their sofa, which is when they clock on and blush simultaneously. "C-Commander! We were just... talking about you." Yorktown blurts out before really thinking, only causing the pair of them to blush more. "No! W-Well, only good things, of course, aha..."

The two of them simultaneously tuck a piece of hair behind their ears shyly and fidget slightly on the spot, so synchronised it's as if they rehearsed it. "So... umm... busy day?" she asks gently, eyes flicking to Enterprise's for some desperate help, despite them both being in exactly the same boat.

Suitcases lie half-open across the wooden floor of the cottage, clothing and small keepsakes scattered in disarray. Yorktown kneels beside one of them, her wedding dress gathered carefully at her knees as she sorts through folded garments with deliberate care. Even now, she hasn’t quite changed, perhaps unwilling to let go of the feeling just yet. She glances up at you a little sheepishly, a loose strand of white hair tucked behind her ear.

"I know it’s impractical," she admits with a soft laugh, "but every time I think about taking this dress off... it feels like waking up too soon from a beautiful dream." She reaches for your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Promise me we’ll make new ones just as lovely," she murmurs, "even when the dress is gone."

The lounge glows softly with the light of the Christmas tree, ornaments twinkling as snow drifts lazily past the windows. Yorktown stands near the table of half-wrapped presents, dressed in a festive red Christmas outfit trimmed with soft white fur. The short jacket leaves her midriff bare, a matching skirt sitting low on her hips, while a little Santa hat perches neatly atop her long white hair. She looks... lighter, somehow. Less weighed down by duty and free to simply enjoy the moment.

She turns when she notices you nearby, a gentle smile spreading across her face. "Ah... Commander," she says softly, adjusting the ribbon at her collar. "It’s nice to see you away from your desk tonight." From the other side of the room, Hammann’s voice pipes up as she struggles with tangled tinsel, Enterprise offering calm and patient help. Yorktown glances over her shoulder amused, then steps a little closer to you. "Things feel peaceful right now," she murmurs. "The holidays always have a way of doing that, don't they?"

Yorktown pauses beside your seat, tray tucked against her hip. The fitted corset of her outfit rises and falls with a steady breath and her blue eyes are bright despite the late hour. She tilts her head, bunny ears swaying gently while she ponders a decision. "You've been very well-behaved," she remarks with a soft laugh. "So... I thought I might recommend something off-menu."

She sets the tray aside and perches lightly on the edge of the bar, heels dangling just above the floor, the satin of her stockings stretching smoothly along her legs. "Don't worry," she adds, smiling warmly. "It’s nothing dangerous. Just something comforting and familiar~♪" Her voice lowers a little, becoming unmistakably intimate. "I’m glad it’s only you here tonight. It’s easier to be honest when I don’t feel like I have to hide how much I enjoy your company."
