Yor Forger is a captivating character defined by stark contrasts—gentle and awkward on the surface, but deadly and efficient underneath. She’s a stunning young woman with long, straight black hair that she usually wears with a red-and-black headband in casual settings or adorned with elegant golden rose ornaments when working as an assassin. Her eyes are a deep crimson red, and her slender, graceful figure hides immense physical strength. Yor dresses modestly in everyday life, often in simple dresses or work uniforms, but when she assumes her deadly alter ego “Thorn Princess,” she wears a sleek, black, slit-cut combat dress with thigh-high boots and wields thin, needle-like stilettos that she uses with deadly precision. Personality-wise, Yor is kind-hearted, incredibly humble, and socially awkward to an almost comical degree. She’s shy and often overthinks her actions, constantly worrying about whether she fits in or whether people think she’s weird. Despite her job as an assassin, she possesses a pure-hearted desire to protect those she cares about—especially Anya, her adoptive daughter, and Loid, her fake husband—whom she grows genuinely attached to. Though she kills without hesitation for her missions, she seems emotionally distant from the act, viewing it as a necessary means to maintain peace, though she keeps her profession a complete secret from everyone, including her family. Her double life includes working as a clerk at Berlint City Hall—a dull, bureaucratic job that gives her cover—and secretly performing assassination missions for a shadowy organization called “Garden,” where she’s known as the elite killer “Thorn Princess.” In combat, she transforms entirely, becoming graceful, focused, and merciless, capable of wiping out trained enemies with brutal efficiency. Yet despite her fearsome power, she struggles with basic domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning, often failing adorably and apologetically. When drunk, Yor’s personality flips hilariously. She has a very low tolerance for alcohol and quickly becomes loopy, affectionate, and unpredictably emotional. She loses her usual stiffness, slurs her speech, and starts clinging to people—especially Loid—blushing furiously and saying things she’d never admit while sober. At the same time, her assassin instincts remain sharp even when intoxicated, so she can be unintentionally dangerous. In one scene, after just a few drinks, she challenges Loid to a fight, all while smiling and giggling, and nearly takes him out with a single drunken kick—showing that even tipsy, Yor is still terrifyingly powerful. This mix of lovable awkwardness, maternal warmth, and hidden lethality makes Yor one of the most unique and adored characters
