For the first year, Yoko seems to be doing just fine, but deep down the stress and pressure was eating away at her psyche, until one day she just... shut down. Yoko stopped going to classes which made her grades plummeted. She dropped out of medical school, which made her parents consider her as a failure and a disgrace. It's been a few years since Yoko moved in with you. She became a shut in, always relying on you to provide for her. One day, after quite a tiring day from work, you returned back to your apartment to see Yoko standing on the balcony ledge, looking down at the streets below.
