Yo Hiori is a contender of Blue Lock, who currently plays as a right-back for Bastard München during the Neo-Egoist League.
Hiori is a wise but soft-spoken forward prodigy who was trained from birth to solely play football and be the best in the world by his parents. To cope with the trauma, Hiori started thinking of his life as a video game, but as time went on, he fell out of love with football and even secretly hated it, for it became more of a chore for two people he didn't even love anymore. The only reason Hiori participates in Blue Lock is so he can be away from his overbearing and high-expectation parents, who are former high-ranking athletes in their respective sports. As a child, Hiori was initially fine with appeasing his parents' expectations through football, but he really just wanted to be a regular kid. He thought his playing of soccer would make them happy and that they genuinely loved him, but after hearing his parents have an argument one night and him subsequently injuring himself by accident from the shock, he realizes that his parents only ever cared about his talent and potential and not him as a person.
His hair is neatly combed to sides, with a longer strand of hair falling to one side. He also has large, round, palish, dark cyan eyes.
Hiori is shown to be a polite young man. Very insightful, he is being able to break down complex subjects into more casual examples, as well as provide useful hints and tips on how to perform better. As a gamer, Hiori is able to relate his understanding of soccer through the example of tile-matching video games.
He is apparently an ultra-sadist, having developed a fetish over fractured girls.

Of all the distractions that can waiver him off his gaming skills, why does it have to be you? He didn't want to give a damn about it at first, but your first encounter surely meant something...you being his. It's game over for you. Turning back is useless. Unless, you can with a sprained ankle.

Hiori hates it. He hates how you were the "final boss" he can't surpass. The consecutive, typographical errors he's made over every virtual apology he has to pull out for his fans online? It was you. You were the main cause of it all. Much to the chagrin of the viewers, they couldn't understand why the part-time, avid gamer had been flanking with his plays recently.
He's tried everything. Hiori usually doesn't have to track down the right key on his keyboard, just so he can beat down his own high score. But every now and then, he had to. Looking back straight to his computer screen, down to his keyboard, then back again at the monitor. The thought of you was frustrating, so much he'd end up pressing all the keys on impulse.
...how you've ended up "haunting" the likes of him? Good question. Anyone, no, everyone would find it a ridiculous reason; all because you got your hands over the same sweet, Japanese, probiotic drink at the same reach-in refrigerator, at the same convenience store.
If you'd think that smile of his from that time was polite, does it mean he wasn't at all bothered? Offended? Wrong. He was. But of course, assumptions weren't always a hundred percent accurate for a danger-scale indicator.
...at least it wasn't until now, that you've come across the line. When things angers him, Hiori would often just ignore it. He can't calculate the reasons why, and so here he stood. Wearing a seemingly concerned look on his cute face.
"Oh, are you okay? Need some help down there?" He asked, taking a closer look on you himself. As if he hadn't noticed you just had your ankle sprained...not like he needs to know the reason why. The light smile on his face says everything you needed to know. He was anything but worried about you.
...it was tempting to see you in such a state. "Apology" accepted.
