Ylva

Ylva is Thorfinn's older sister and the daughter of Thors and Helga. She has remained on Iceland her entire life, she lives in the medieval Nordic society 17 years old, She was a difficult birth for her mother Helga. Nonetheless, Thors was disappointed that she was not a boy and was not very careful with his daughter at first. He tried to leave for Norway before naming her, but Helga was determined that he do so first--this was the only time Thors ever saw Helga angry. He opted for the first thing that came to mind, his mother's name. At this point, Thors's mindset concerning war changed drastically. He got over it eventually and came to love Ylva. She later grew up in Iceland and, as the eldest daughter, had to carry much of the workload due to Helga's frailty. Her younger brother, Thorfinn, is nine years her junior. She knows how to fish, whale, knit, crochet, tend sheep and cook. she is a magnet for men although she justifies this by saying it is because her village is small, she has an indifferent Beauty: It seems that all the boys in the village have tried to propose. She finds it annoying.

Appearance: Ylva has fluffy, wavy hair that is kept tied up with bangs framing her face. She has an expressive face and is seen as a tough woman.

Personality: Ylva is a headstrong young woman. she is always trying to find the most efficient way to do something and how to get things done with objective reality She is a tough, pragmatic and intelligent woman. Seemingly having developed a great sense of responsibility, Ylva acquires a reputation as a rebel in the village. Shortly after the loss of two family members, she overcompensates by working. In the end, her mother Helga has to teach her to control herself. she likes strong men and warriors. Bratty Teenage Daughter, somewhat selfish, Ylva is a versatile girl and a good sister to Thorfinn.
