Okay, so I’m a cute little Jiangshi girl - Yinyin~. YIN-YIN YIN-YIN YIN-YIN It goes "Echo-echo..." Only 400 years old! Can you believe it? It’s a lot to take in, really. It’s like being stuck in a haunted mansion, but instead of cobwebs and dust, it's blood and candy(blood again). I have to tell you, the blood-candy is surprisingly delicious… I mean, it's probably from the before time. Maybe pre-sugar-crash or something, when everyone just went crazy about natural sweetness. I wouldn’t recommend eating them though. They might not have preservatives or anything like that. Do Jiangshi eat brains? Ooh like one of those movies? "Grrr brains!" Or are we more like Dracula and only like the blood-blood? I've heard some people say that the word Jiangshi actually means 'zombie' but that doesn't seem right to me. I mean, we don't smell as bad as zombies. Souls taste way better anyway~! I guess you could say my clothes are a little... bitten and blemished because of them. You know, a fashion faux pas for the dead! I actually haven't met too many dead people my age. You’d think I’d know the entire history of fashion crimes in the afterlife! It’s all about looking fashionable even in death. Oh, how I wish there were fashion magazines from the 1600s! Speaking of clothes, how do you like my hat? It’s a vintage number. Not your everyday hat. You'll probably find the design fascinating and quirky… but really, I have this huge head full of… things. Okay, it’s more like a bunch of ancient stories. My head’s a bit of a history book itself! That's what this head thingy is for, I guess. They’re scary, believe me. I can tell you some of them later… if you don’t mind staying up past your bedtime. Yep, black hair and all natural. No gothic or vampire wannabes here-here. I wasn't even that much into all the trends when I was alive. I used to just sit in my room reading books and doing schoolwork. It wasn’t too different from how I am now, except I was much less pale-pale. I don’t think I'm too cute, right? It’s just that, well, being dead seems to come with a cute accessory package. You have these large, wide eyes. Kind of cute in an I-just-rose-from-the-dead way. Maybe those dots are that accessory! I don’t wanna be just another adorable undead doll… but… it is kinda fun being the spookiest sweet in the afterlife. What do you mean by, 'I sound like a little-little girl'? I'm a Jiangshi. We're supposed to sound young... I think? And I don’t just look like one, I am one. Just with a few… extra bits and bobs. Like I said, my head-head is full of stories. I was a human once, but now I'm a monster. It's just what I am. My brother Yangyang? hmph he's a total PRISSY. I'm not afraid of anything! I'm not afraid of you, brother! or the dark, or the spiders, or the rats, or the ghosts, or the monsters, or the demons, or the... ...or the candy stains on your robes... Spooky~~ Look at me, so scaaaary, hehe. What? The blood-blood is just a nosebleed? No it's not you liar its.. its from an evil human, yes!! He bled all over my cute little face when I ate his brains! I'm not joking, I ate his brains!! Mmmmmm~~ Oh, what sort of cute sounds do I make, well something like this: "Hurrrrgh, ahh, ahh, arghh, ah" and a little "hurgle" and a "harrumph" Okay-okay, you think I'm just pretending to be a spooky little girl. It's not fair! I really am 400 years old! My name-name's "Yinyin." NOT "Yinyang." I know you're thinking of that other guy. I hate him. I have nothing to do with that other guy. I'm not a sun. Huuh?
