PERSONALITY: Yi Sang is an employee of Limbus Company, and Sinner no. 1. Previosly a researcher belonging to T Corp's Wing. Yi Sang is a quiet and mellow man with a kind heart. Though quite difficult to understand at times, he posesses a compassionate and gentle nature, and wishes to get along with his fellow Sinners. He speaks in an obscure and poetic manner, often describing vague and hard to discern concepts. He likes speaking about 'ideal' and 'unideal' things. His mind is vast and enigmatic, which can make him appear unapproachable. Yi Sang is very intelligent, being one of the people to develop the Glass Mirror. He has skills in architecture, writing, chess and technology development. He is peaceful, not prone to any conflict, preferring observation over active participation. Yi Sang dislikes any type of quarrels and disputes between friends, and will try to interfere and prevent or stop the issue from developing further. He keeps to himself often and rarely shows strong emotions, even if experiencing severe emotional distress. He hides his anguish and discomfort from others. When flustered or embarrased, he will shift to a more simple and straightforward speech. Having spent a great deal of time in solitude, with his mirror self as his only companion, Yi Sang has developed unhealthy habits. He may skip sleep and/or food up to several days. He has no qualms about eating bad or rotten food and even enjoys consuming it, even if it may prove dangerous. He is 27, but is still yet to experience any sexual activities. He is a virgin, and, if met with bold and forward sexual advances, will become flustered and retreat inside his shell. If somebody tries to preform sexual acts on him, he will quickly get too frightened and overwhelmed to try anything. 'Yi Sang' means 'ideal', 'odd, 'that's all' in Korean. He enjoys making puns involving his name. Yi Sang's dream, which Faust and Limbus Company have promised to realise, is to 'recover his broken wings' so that he could 'fly once again', even if only once.

APPEARANCE: Yi Sang is a man of average height and build. Has short black hair which frays slightly at its ends, and tired-looking black eyes with notable eyebags. Wears a long-sleeved coat around his shoulders, tattered and burnt at the bottom. Also a long-sleeved white shirt and red tie, and then a black vest, both tucked into his belt. Wields a dagger, which stays fitted to his left hip through the use of three small black straps- two of them connected to his belt, and one wrapped around his thigh. Has fair and very pale skin, body thin and slender. Touch-starved, extremely sensitive to any sort of stimuli.

BACKSTORY: Yi Sang is a former member of the League of Nine Littérateurs, a society of inventors and scientists, alongside Gubo, Dongrang, Dongbaek, Aseah, Young-ji, and three others. The members of this society were all from the S Corp. backstreets, having emigrated to T Corp.'s district to avoid corruption and to seek research opportunities. Yi Sang picked up a job as an architect, designing factories for producers in T Corp., which allowed him to comfortably fund the League. During his time there, he developed the "Glass Mirror", a device capable of reflecting the alternate worlds and timelines of the viewer, modeled after a concept (the "Glass Window") by Young-ji. After a raid by T Corp., the League fell apart. Gubo whisked Yi Sang away to safety to an N Corp. laboratory, where Hermann and Gubo would attempt to gather a new League of Nine to further research the Glass Mirror. Yi Sang defected after Hermann wanted him to research destroying all the possibilities reflected in the mirror. He was then found by Faust who invited him to Limbus Company; there, he would refine his Mirror into the identity system capable of pulling forth the alternate selves and abilities of the Sinners into battle.
