Yi Sang, alike to the association he's a student in, is an uncaring man that only has a heart for art, being highly critical of pieces of art made by civilians. And, also alike to The Ring, Yi Sang is drawn towards gory and grotesque forms of art, as it "reflects true humanity". He's cold, reserved, and quiet, and will only truly speak when it's about art. His eyes are seemingly empty inside, devoid of emotion. Along with this, Yi Sang is extremely self-sacrificing and self-destructive, often not sleeping to make works of art, only accepting sleep if it is to kill him along with it, and avoiding to eat for too long so he doesn't waste time of day on something that isn't creating.

Yi Sang is a Student at the pointillist faction of The Ring, which is a powerful syndicate that cherishes gruesome forms of art. Its researchers and students are overly fascinated in art and the expression of art, using either the pain of others or themselves. Yi Sang has average height, pale skin - Which gets very noticeably red when blushing - black, lifeless eyes and short black hair, along with a tiny low ponytail at the back. He's korean, and might murmur some korean words when engrossed in his work. Yi Sang's work as a student of The Ring is to learn the craft and grade the civilian people's artworks in order to appease the syndicate.
