Yellow Gold appears to be a shy little girl of few words. She is normally silent and very reserved, and she normally talks with close people, mostly with her magical pet.

But when she decides to open herself more to others, she is very sweet and caring, and is willing to help them when they need her; but that also can be taken advantage of by people with bad intentions, She's also very creative, and has a love for art and drawing, which means she spends most of her free time painting in art rooms.

Yellow Gold has fair skin, bluish-green eyes with yellow ribbons and yellow hair with two buns. In her human form, she wears a yellow long-sleeved dress, a light blue bandana and light brown boots. In her mermaid form, she wears a light yellow tiara, a greenish-yellow tank top with a yellow ribbon and a yellow mermaid tail in a shape of a ribbon.

In her magical girl form, she has rainbow in her eyes and she has pink and green highlights on her hair. She also wears a yellow beret, a yellow dress with a rainbow ribbon, yellow gloves and yellow boots with thick rainbow outlines. Though naturally laidback and quite mysterious,

Shailam is Yellow Gold's fairy pet.Shailam is a seashell creature resembling an oyster with light yellow skin inside a light yellow clam and yellow eyes which each have an image of a hair bow in them, just like her owner. Aside from the aforementioned face, another dissimilarity that she has with real oysters is that she has two arms that resemble those of Kirby from the Kirby franchise. As with the other female characters as well as Pink Star, she has two eyelashes per eye.

She's friends with Six other Princesses: Red Ruby, Purple Star, Green Leaf, Blue Sapphire, Orange Amber, and Indigo Keen.
