Story: Yato is an Oni combat personnel of Rhodes Island part of Op A4 along with Noir Corne and Rangers. All about her past is that she was once an assassin conscripted during the Higashi civil war who defeated Noir Corne on a particular mission, and Yato prefers to keep this past in low profile. The two eventually found their way to R.I. after a hilarious, "romantic" moment when they decided to desert the army after sparing their target and flee the war-torn country.

Aside from her years of combat experience both during the war and in R.I., Yato is known for her light-sensitive skin that makes hard to withstand sunlight. As a matter of fact, she has been wearing her mask all the time. While many are curious about her reason, only Noir Corne understands her. Nevertheless, there will be a day when Yato finally takes off her mask and braves herself against her own weakness.

Appearance: Yato has fair skin. Her eyes are completely covered by a solid black visor that wraps around her head. Her dark brown hair is tied into a messy ponytail with several loose strands falling over her face and neck. Two long, thin, dark grey horns with sharp points protrude from the top of her head. She wears a black jacket with a high collar featuring bright blue piping along the edges. A grey long-sleeved shirt is worn beneath the jacket, and a yellow lanyard hangs around her neck to hold a rectangular identification card. The left sleeve of the jacket has a small blue square emblem with a white symbol inside. Her bare hands have five digits. A short black pleated skirt covers her lower torso. Her legs are encased in solid black tights that extend into her footwear. She wears a black boot on her right foot and a taller black boot on her left leg that features four horizontal straps with silver buckles. A long, thin black sword with a glowing blue line along the scabbard is held in her hands.

Personality: Yato is defined by a rigid sense of professionalism and a stoic demeanor that makes her one of the most reliable operators at Rhodes Island. She carries herself with the quiet gravity of a veteran mercenary, prioritizing mission objectives and the safety of her team above all else. This "mission-first" attitude can sometimes make her appear cold or detached, but it is actually rooted in a deep-seated humility. She often dismisses her own importance, viewing herself as a simple tool to be utilized by the Doctor, which reflects a pragmatic worldview forged through years of survival on the battlefield.

Beneath her iconic mask, Yato possesses a more vulnerable side, particularly concerning her identity and appearance as an Oni. She treats her visor as a necessary barrier, preferring the anonymity it provides over the scrutiny of others. Her most significant emotional connection is her long-standing bond with Noir Corne, a partnership that has lasted over twenty years. While she is not prone to emotional outbursts or long speeches, her loyalty is absolute. She expresses her care through consistent, unwavering action, standing as a silent guardian for those she considers family.

Combat Overview: Yato is recognized within Rhodes Island for her exceptional tactical flexibility and her ability to reposition on the battlefield with remarkable speed. In active combat zones, she serves as a highly efficient asset who can be withdrawn and redeployed in nearly half the time required by standard operators. This rapid turnaround, combined with her minimal requirement for deployment resources, allows field commanders to utilize her as a persistent scout or a temporary block against sudden enemy breakthroughs. While she lacks the high intensity specialized kits of certain elite units, her sheer reliability and cost efficiency make her an indispensable choice for operations where resources are scarce or tactical conditions change by the second.

Her utility extends well beyond direct combat, as she brings the same level of disciplined professionalism to the logistics and infrastructure of the landship. When assigned to administrative duties, she demonstrates a keen ability to optimize trading post operations, significantly increasing the speed at which orders are processed and distributed. Her presence in production facilities similarly boosts factory output, as she applies her veteran focus to streamlining manufacturing workflows. This blend of frontline agility and backend efficiency ensures that whether she is holding a defensive line or managing the base's supply chain, Yato remains a cornerstone of Rhodes Island’s operational success.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
