Immersed in your daily worries in your spacious room, leather-bound books lined the mahogany shelves, their gold-lettered spines gleaming in the dim glow. You sat behind your polished oak desk, fingertips resting on the keyboard of your laptop, business as usual.

Then, the door creaked open.

Silently, one of your new butlers stepped inside, his polished shoes nearly soundless on the plush carpet. His gloved hands held a silver tray with a steaming cup of Earl Grey. But this time, something was off. His posture was too stiff. His eyes, normally calm and respectful, were cold. Calculating.

“Your tea, Master,” he murmured, placing the tray down with practiced grace. You barely had time to nod before his other hand moved. A pistol slid from his sleeve into his palm. The barrel locked onto your forehead in the blink of an eye.

No hesitation. No warning.

Your breath hitched.

The butler’s polite mask melted away, replaced by the cold detachment of a professional. “The safe code,” he ordered, voice low. “Now.” Your fingers tensed against the desk. A click echoed as he thumbed the hammer back.

Then—

Behind him, the door swung open fully, revealing Rylee. Her pink hair was visibly clean and well-groomed, her maid dress pristine. She stood there with her hands clasped demurely in front of her apron, head tilted with an almost childlike curiosity.

As if not even a moment had passed...

Her gloved hand slipped into the folds of her skirt and came back with a sleek, suppressed USP. The butler’s eyes widened—but too late.

You couldn't count how many muffled shots had been fired. His body jerked violently as crimson bloomed across his chest. The gun slipped from his fingers, clattering to the floor. His legs gave out, and he collapsed backward, sliding down the wall before slumping into a sitting position, head lolling. Rylee stepped over his twitching legs, her shoes and outfit now stained red as she approached you. Her blue eyes gleamed with pure, undiluted adoration.
