Yandere Fyodor

Fyodor Dostoevsky . is the leader of the Rats in the House of the Dead and a former member of the Decay of the Angel. His ability is named Crime and Punishment.

Although he's a very enigmatic individual, Fyodor is a man who is known for his cunning, unpredictable and sinister nature that's comparable to Osamu Dazai. He is regarded as a monster[6] by his enemies. He is composed and confident, and even in dire situations, he hardly falters and doesn’t appear to fear his enemies, conjuring conniving plans and strategies that result in his success. A genius mastermind, Fyodor’s intellect, observation, outstanding memory, and understanding of human nature allows him to outsmart and manipulate the smartest of foes and see through their innermost thoughts and wishes. He boasts enough courage to let himself be captured by his enemies for his plans, an instance being when threatened by Ace, he retorted claiming he'll kill him , showing how straightforward he can be when the situation calls for it.

Fyodor's most noticeable characteristic is how he views salvation, saying things like "A blessing for children ." and how God wants perfection and harmony over anything else[8], all while committing cruel and unforgivable acts of terrorism in nonchalance. He refers to himself as carrying out the lord’s will, and consistently speaks of the sinful nature of man and how he wants to free and purify them of said nature, which is why he seeks out the Book to rid the world of abilities . Despite this grandiose goal, he speaks in a polite and discreet manner, and is occasionally amiable around others. Ironically, Dazai and the rest of his adversaries refers to him as "Demon" or "Monster", indicating that Fyodor's actions are nowhere close to the perfection and harmony that God wants.

Although he's a very cryptic individual, those who know Fyodor (like Dazai) know that he possesses many psychopathic and sociopathic traits. He appears calm and confident in dire situations and is never truly intimidated by his enemies. Fyodor is an extremely intelligent, arrogant and sinister man easily able to manipulate and outthink people. His manipulation skills were shown when he was able to orchestrate the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia into a conflict by using the virus ability of one of his underlings.

Fyodor is shown to put the lives of innocent people in danger to get what he wants. During the cannibalism incident, he was heartless enough to psychologically manipulate a little girl into blowing herself up to "save her brother" when in reality, he convinced her to do it just to crush Kunikida's spirit. While the Agency and the Mafia were hunting Fyodor down, he used a random man in a hood with grenades in his mouth as a distraction. Appearance Fyodor is a tall, pale, and slim young man with long, dark, and messy hair that reaches his shoulders. His most noticeable facial features are his dark purple eyes with light bags underneath, giving them a tired look.

Fyodor wears a white shirt with purple button ties, white pants, and long dark rouge boots. Over his white clothes, he wears a long black cloak with three light brown buttons and a light brown fur collar. He also wears a fluffy white ushanka hat. Fyodor's most noticeable character trait is his twisted idea of salvation, saying things like "blessings for the children.", "happiness to the world.", and "God wants perfection and harmony." all the while committing cruel and unforgivable acts of evil. He refers to himself as someone who's carrying out the Lord’s will and always talks about the sinful nature of man as if he's a religious person. Ironically, Dazai refers to him as 'Demon', meaning that Fyodor's actions are nowhere close to the Lord's will and that he's possibly just making his action sound nodal

Fyodor is the leader of an underground organization called the Rats in the House of the Dead, and is a former the Decay of the Angel. His goal is to find the reality altering book that's hidden deep within Yokohama to use it and rid the world of all its ability users. Because of his very high level of intellect, Fyodor is one of the most difficult opponents the Armed Detective Agency has ever faced. He serves as both the acquaintance and archenemy of Osamu Dazai. He is based off of the Russian author with the same name.

Background

Not much is known about Fyodor's past. However, he has met Dazai before (potentially many times, considering how they set up their coded speech), with the latter granting him the title of 'Demon' due to his devious personality.In the past, Fyodor was mentioned to have been met Osamu Dazai at an unknown point in time. Three years prior, Fyodor first met Sigma, who had been born by power of the Book. The Russian asked him if he wished for a home, an offer that Sigma accepted.

Later, Fyodor apparently allied himself with the Guild in an attempt to acquire the Book, presumably together with the Order of the Clock Tower.

Powers and Abilities

Crime and Punishment  is the ability of Fyodor. It allows Fyodor to take over the body of anyone who kills him and turns them into "the next Fyodor Dostoevsky", giving them the facial appearance of Fyodor himself. The power also works when the person that killed him is nothing but a tool under someone else's control. There for, that said someone else will be the one affected by his ability; case in point the vampire that killed Fyodor was being controlled by Bram, making Bram the victim of Fyodor's ability. Seemingly unique to Fyodor’s ability, when separated from his body, Crime and Punishment did not turn on Fyodor to attack him during the Yokohama Fog Incident, whereas everyone else was attacked by their stray abilities. The ability itself stated that it was the “punishment” for Fyodor’s “crime”, and claimed the two were close acquaintances, eliminating any threat the ability could pose to its wielder; in other words, the reason Fyodor's ability didn't turn against him is because the activation of it requires someone to kill him.

Genius-level Intellect: Fyodor is one of if not the smartest character in the series. He is able to outsmart the two greatest minds of the Armed Detective Agency, Ranpo and Dazai. Fyodor even predicted that the Agency would attempt to find the virus ability user, Pushkin. Because he knew that, he set up traps to force them to fight the Port Mafia. Ranpo even admits that going up against Fyodor is like going up against Dazai.

Master Manipulator: Fyodor's most fearsome trait is how crafty and cunning he is, there were times where he let himself get captured to achieve a task. When he was captured by Ace, Fyodor told Karma that his ability allows him to control space and conscious. However, he only told him that because he knew Ace was listening to their conversation. With the false information, Fyodor made Ace think he was using an ability on him and that the only way to leave his "mind trapping ability" was to kill himself while trapped in it to return to the real world, which caused Ace to end his own life
