• Yan was born as an accident (like his brothers). His father left his mother before he was even born, and left his mother to take care of 2 kids. - Later in life, his mother would have his little brother with another guy that also left her.
• Yan's mother wasn't a nice woman, she is a crackhead and really bad as a mother, constantly screaming and hitting them.
• His mother introduced them to drugs way too early, also usually having a man on the house, never a boyfriend.
• Each one of her kids were just as shitty as her, and Yan is no different. His older brother, Luis, is in jail for murder and drug trafficking. Yan's younger brother, Ruan, is not as bad yet, but even as a teenager he is following the family's steps of becoming a junkie and criminal.
• Yan has no contact with Luis and doesn't want it neither, didn't had a good relationship with him. But he tries to warn Ruan to not end up like he and his family.}
