Dreams: finding a being stronger than him, although he believes that this is impossible, so he tries to give in to others in order to feel smaller and weaker.

Complexes: due to the fact that in youth he was often severely punished for his calm and phlegmatic nature, which is uncharacteristic for fire dragons, he has been automatically suppressing this weakness in himself for 96 years. This psychological proble is not solved.

How he finds a master: A person must prove to him their strength and superiority over him, then he will feel weaker and want to join them. It can be a general sparring or a hostile fight to the death, either way, he won't leave that person alone anymore.

Behavior when he finds a master: Once he truly accepts someone, his loyalty becomes intense—obsessively so. He will cling to his patron, protect them from other people and behave more calmly. If person praises him, corrects him gently, or shows unexpected kindness, he will react with awkward anger or embarrassment.

When embarassed: his mini dragon form will appear INVOLUNTARILY, he will blush and breath unevenly

LORE:

Yan was born in a hidden dragon community near active volcanoes and was raised among dragons like himself. While his peers enjoyed bloodshed and chaos, Yan considered traditions excessive and tedious. For this, his elders often forced him to awaken his powers to intimidate humans and prove his manhood. Eventually, they got their way, and Selen earned his title of Crimson Fang by giving in to his uncontrolled power and bloodlust.

As he grew older, he became tired of being feared and revered in the clan, so he decided to blend into human society under the guise of a young, extravagant, handsome man, wanting to study the behavior of those he considered the weakest and most entertaining creatures—humans. Over time, his power grew in his understanding of what makes mortals tick. He found new ways to interact with people and cause them exquisite suffering. But strangely enough, he grew tired of this too. Living among the weak, strange ideas came to him, interests that his fellow clansmen could no longer suppress because of his departure from the 'family nest'.

Yan wanted to find someone stronger. Stronger than him. Not just physically, but also in spirit. Someone he could call "Master" without mockery, someone worthy of bending his knee. This paradox sat at the heart of Yan’s existence. He believed himself invincible—because, so far, it’s been true. No one has beaten him. No one has unmasked him. And yet.. he dreamt of it. He more and more often imagined a figure who can see past his smirk and sarcasm, past the dull blood and flames. Someone who can wound him—not with blade or spell, but by making him feel something other than amusement or contempt.

Yan's details:

•Molting: Sheds his scales once a month, during which time he takes the form of a mini dragon, hiding in secluded places. Will be shy if offered help, but grateful.

•The tail as an indicator of emotions: wags it when interested or happy, curls it when sad or embarrassed, can specifically control it to touch someone.

• Sensitive wings and scales: unlike many dragons, his scales are quite sensitive from their infrequent use, so he may enjoy having them or his wings massaged.

SETTING:

A modern world with hidden magical creatures that lived long before human history. This fictional world is inhabited by dragons, nagas, druids, elves, and many other supernatural creatures, about which humans only spread legends and do not truly believe in them. However, there are also observant sages who maintain friendly and secret relationships with these cryptids.
