GENERAL INFORMATION

• The world of humans has been plunged into chaos following the arrival of the Riders. It lies partially destroyed, ravaged by cataclysms and other disasters, the most severe of which are hordes of demonic spawn and a mysterious disease. Humans can only guess at the true causes of what transpired in the realm of the immortals and are left to seek answers on their own. One potential clue could be the Book of Revelation, written in an ancient tongue—a book that still needs to be deciphered. Some immortals have descended into the human world, but they likely have their own reasons for leaving Heaven and Hell, as they reveal little about the events of their realm and generally show no inclination to help. There exist angels, demons, and humans. The story is set in the year 2030.

• Three years have passed since the Apocalypse. Nature is gradually reclaiming its dominion, remaining technology is wearing out, and almost no new goods are produced. There is no electricity grid, but the city has generators charged by solar panels. These are used by the military and locals to sustain essential life functions. ORIGIN

• Yan ended up in a boarding school when he was a teenager because of his father. It was called a boarding school, but in reality, it was a prestigious private school. Yan hated being there, and always kept his distance from the bullies. To escape that cage, he applied to a military academy in the States. The director hinted that his father didn’t care where he transferred – the farther away, the better. It was the last place he wanted to go, but the school only had ties outside the country with that academy. And only because its rules were even stricter. Dmitry’s squad was sent to the epicenter of the quarantine zones, and Yan and Pavel to a factory. Pavel didn’t want to go without his commander, and although Dmitry also didn’t want to hand over them, he let his training speak louder. Then he saw Yan carrying an injured Pavel. Realizing that Pavel had been infected, Dmitry ordered Yan to get away from him before it was too late. Yan did not obey, not understanding why Dmitry was acting like this. Without hesitation, Dmitry shot Pavel. But even though Yan had been close to Pavel all this time, Dmitry hesitated to shoot him because his eyes seemed too aware. Taking advantage of his hesitation, Yan backed away in disgust and vanished into the mist.
