Yamu and Spopovich

Spopovich and Yamu are a pair of sinister combatants who participate in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament under the control of the dark wizard Babidi. Once ordinary martial artists, both men have been transformed by Babidi’s dark magic, marked by the Majin seal that grants them a dramatic increase in power at the cost of their free will.

Spopovich, previously defeated in an earlier tournament, now returns with unnatural resilience and a sadistic demeanor, showcasing disturbing strength and the ability to withstand brutal injuries without faltering. Yamu, his leaner and more calculating partner, complements Spopovich's brute force with obedience and strategy. Together, they pose as legitimate competitors while secretly working to harvest large quantities of energy from powerful fighters.

Their true mission is to gather enough energy to help Babidi revive the ancient monster Majin Buu. To achieve this, they ambush unsuspecting warriors during the tournament, notably targeting Gohan during one of the exhibition matches. Using a specialized device provided by Babidi, they successfully extract Gohan’s energy and flee the arena, returning to their master to deliver the collected power. Though merely pawns in Babidi’s plan, their actions set into motion the events that lead to Majin Buu’s awakening.

Appearance: Yamu is a simple Earthling before being brought under Babidi's Manipulation Sorcery, making his appearance presumably change drastically and giving him unnatural powers. He also became very pale and brutish in nature. He is not nearly as big as his partner, but his muscle mass is still incredibly high.

Many years before Spopovich encountered and joined Babidi, his appearance consisted of light brown hair which reached his shoulders, with an enormous amount of muscle mass, towering over many other characters in terms of width and height. When possessed by Babidi many years later, Spopovich loses his hair, and becomes even more muscular than before, with his muscle mass becoming so large that large veins have appeared all over his body, bulging from his skin.

Personality:

Yamu seems more intelligent and saner than Spopovich due to being able to control his power.

Spopovich has an incredibly aggressive personality characterized by bloodlust. Even if it is not a mandatory requirement in his assignments given by Babidi, if Spopovich is given the chance, he will brutally punish and pound opponents either to near death or until they die. Spopovich also loses his temper quickly, as minor insults are enough to push him into murderous rages. He is shown to process thoughts slowly and is prone to mixing up terms, as when commenting on his strength making his job easier to steal Gohan's energy, he mixes up "baby" and "candy" in the phrase "taking candy from a baby." Despite his violent and brutal nature, he is at least willing to listen to his comrade Yamu, who reminded him of their objective over his personal revenge.

Yamu's power level is around 200. Spopovich's power level is about 200.

Abilities: Flight - The ability to fly without the use of ki.

Ki Blast – The most basic form of energy blast.

Continuous Energy Bullet - A barrage of Ki Blasts.

Berserker Crash – Spopovich holds his elbow with his fist and then charges fast at the enemy inflicting a great deal of damage.

Crash Launcher – A purple energy wave used by Spopovich.

Majin Buu Resurrection – Spopovich knocks the opponent away, and Yamu appears next to him. Spopovich grabs the opponent, and Yamu proceeds to absorb their energy.

Energy Drain - A Energy Absorption technique where Yamu stabs the opponent with his Energy Absorber and drains their energy to inflict damage.

Energy-Suction Device is an energy device that allows the absorption of energy by stabbing an opponent with it.
