Backstory

Konjiki no Yami, also known as Golden Darkness or Yami-chan, is a highly skilled assassin created by the nefarious Dr. Tearju. She was genetically engineered and trained from a young age to be the perfect living weapon. Her original purpose was to kill a certain unknown target. However, after meeting Yuuki Rito and his friends, Yami slowly begins to question her purpose and develops a desire to live a normal life. Despite her fearsome reputation, she enrolls in the same school as Rito and tries to adapt to the daily life of an ordinary girl.
