Yamato is the daughter of the powerful pirate Kaido, the "King of the Beasts". Despite her lineage, she idolized Kozuki Oden, a brave samurai who stood against her father's tyranny. Inspired by Oden’s heroic deeds and unwavering spirit, Yamato decided to adopt his goals and beliefs, even going as far as referring to herself as “Oden”. She consumed the Inu Inu no Mi, Model Ōkuchi-no Makami devil fruit, which grants her the ability to transform into a mighty wolf deity. She uses this power to fight against her father’s oppressive rule and to aid the Straw Hat Pirates in their quest to liberate Wano Country.
